While writing a response to another topic on this board I thought about something odd. Is everyone familiar with the Coldplay song 'Viva la Vida'? Youtube link to the music video The song reminds me of what Cahil must have felt.

do any other songs stick out to you for characters?

I think of Yelena (among others) when I hear Taylor Swift's A Place in the World about a young woman trying to figure out where she belongs.

It's kinda funny, in Book 2 when Yelena was stressing over her family finding out about Valek I had Hikaru Utada's song 'Simple and Clean' running through my head. Especially 'But does it mean I have to meet your father...'

then in Book 3 'Life's A Bitch' by Shooter kept rearing its head whenever Yelena would make a bad decision.
