Well, at least it gives you plenty of time to order it.

I'm more than a little embarrassed, actually.

I hope I didn't put that in the email, too.

Still no nominations, guys.

message 9: by Roberta (new)

Roberta | 78 comments Still recovering from Lucy. Just couldn't get through it. What is the funniest book by an Irish writer that people have read? Not just chuckle or wry grin funny - rather I'm thinking, laugh out loud snort milk inelegantly funny.

Monthly reads are open to all genres and writers of all nationalities, but if someone were to suggest a good Irish comedy I could get behind it.

I would like to nominate The Snowman.

@ Declan I didn't even notice, until Poilin pointed it out :-)

Thanks, Sam. It was still a rookie mistake.

The book looks interesting. This is the first time I've ever heard of the series, though. It's completely new to me.

Love these books, have just started to get into the Detective genre, especially the scandanavian ones.

So far it's the only nomination. It might get in without a challenge.
