Penny for Your Thoughts discussion

Wasn't too sure where this would go, so I put it here.

Thoughts from Places is an idea sprung from video bloggers Hank and John Green of the vlogbrothers on YouTube. They created video essays about places they went to. Playlist found here.

I was thinking, since this is a writing group, that we could do something similar, minus the video part, and instead tell a story through words and pictures. It should be about an idea (ie: how we ourselves will be remembered not as individuals but as a collective, some days it's okay to not be rational, etcl). Anything goes, really. But it should be told through pictures with the help of words.

So, like a sophisticated picture book telling a deep, meaningful story? My two favorite things: pictures and deep, meaningful stories. :D

Yeah, I was really tired when I tried posting this. Still trying to get over not posting.

You're gonna write an essay and take pictures of places you've been to before (ie Standford) and you're gonna use those words to use those pictures to portray an idea/concept/whatever.

Can you enlighten us with an example of yours..please? :)
