Jessica | 2 comments My first word I found is Acclimation. I found it on the book were reading in our book club Elsewhere. Acclimation means the process to adapt to a new enviroment. When I was talking on the phone with my sister she asked,"How is college?" I told her "Well I think I can acclimate to college."

My second word I also found it on Elsewhere and its reverie, which means a daydream. So last time in my Biology class I was thinking about my thinking and I came to a conclusion that I always reverie in that class. Now I eat candy before I go to the class so I can actually pay attention to the professor.

My third word I also found in Elsewhere and its dunce, which means a dull-witted, stupid,or ignorant person. Yeasterday my cousain saw the fight of Mayweather and Ortiz. In the second round he was saying stupid. I told him that he should not be saying dunce in front of little kids because they are going also going to say it. My causain was like what??? I'm not dancing??? He was just laughing.

1.) Tyrant-Cruel. (I found this word reading the news paper). When i was at home play fighting with my older brother he asked,"Whats your fighting style?" I answered him " Well i dont know look at me as a tyrant fighter."
2.) Ravish-Fill with great joy. (I found this word reading a Christmas song i picked up in the library). While at home babysitting my little brother. I saw him eating an apple while the family was having dinner and i asked him, " Why do you do everything with such ravish?" He looked at me and smiled.
3.) Haggle-Argue about terms. (I heard this word being used in a tv show "The 70's Show"). At home my older brother and little brother always fight about who has better looking shoes? Im always stuck in the middle with the hard decision on having to favor one over the other. If not i risk myself getting hit by both. I just ignore them both and tell them, " Why are you two always haggling like a married couple?"

Great fire
I heard this word from someone actually it was my cousin’s friend I didn’t use it yet but he did when he was talking about the fires in the woods.

deride
To laugh at mockingly, scorn
My English teacher used this work when he was talking about a essay when we were discussing it in class. Again I didn’t use it yet but he did and he was actually mocking the words and laughter too.
