Hey, Ms. Pittman. I'm reading "The Hunt For Red October" by Tom Clancy. I am on page 17 and it is the beginning of Chapter 2. I haven't read much, but I've read enough to find out that this book is very action filled and exciting. In the story, it begins with the maiden voyage of the large undetectable Soviet submarine, the Red October. The mission is one that only the 2 captains, Ramius and Putin, know. The mission is to conduct an exercise in which a Russian ship is to practice searching for the submarine within certain coordinates and Ramius and Putin are the only 2 on the Red October who know. Unfortunately, Ramius has other plans for the submarine. With a few swift moves he creates what appears to be a terrible accident that brakes Putin's neck. Now, the only person who knows the true mission is Ramius and he has directed the Red October in the opposite direction...
