You bet! It's on my book shelf. You can read it in a day. It's beautiful. Get it tomorrow.
Sincerely,

Was it a movie AND a book? I guess I was thinking more about something you had read, but would still like to hear if it's a movie. Since our next unit of writing is realistic fiction, you may be inspired to write a story similar to the movie you love...
Wow, great movie! You know, there's a book called The Omnivore's Dilemma and they have a kid version. It is a great follow-up book to Food, Inc. if you're interested in knowing more about that subject. Great, powerful stuff.
one of the movies that changed me was the movie called "Food Inc" because it was a movie that was about the food industrial and it showed how they killed animals and how it makes us sicker, and fater.
It's too bad I only have the adult version! There's also another book called Chew On This that you may also really like. I don't know 88's book well enough yet to know if they are in the building. Why don't you remind me on Monday and I'll send you to the school's library with a pass. Sound good?
We definitely have Chew on This in the classroom libraries...and we will be ordering the young adult version of The Omnivores Dilemma. Food Rules by Michael Pollan is also a great companion text (and quick read!)
The book that changed me the most last year was Street Pharm because it show how a teenage boy took over his fathers job of being a drug dealer and has to deal with the cops, his mom and dad, his employers, and his clients. The book inspired to write and read realistic fiction stories. I think every one would like as much as I do.
Chaya, that reminds me of a movie called "Fresh."

It showed the hardships that drove the the main character to dealing drugs in order to survive.
Is Street Pharm a book you could use as a mentor text for your own fiction writing piece?

The book that has affected me most this year is NERDS by Michael Buckley because it shows how a bully discovers a secret about the people he bullies everyday. After spending some time with them, he realizes how they feel and to respect all people. So this made me also realize that you have to give all people the same respect. :P
The book that changed/affected me the most would have to be "Thankyou Mr.Falker" because it was about this girl who dosnt know how to read/write and kids make fun of her so Mr.Falker helps her and by time she knows how to read/write and kids stop making fun of her.
the book that changed or affected me the most is "letters to a young sista" by hill harper because it shows me how the real world is and it teaches me how to respect myself and my body.
The book that most changed mr was the sisters grimm because sabrina has to learn to trust everafters and her grandmothe
The book that changed or affected me would have to be " Sapphique" by Catherine Fisher b/c Attia cares about Finn and when they were trapp she didnt abandon him cause she loves him. And even though she not a princess and he's a prince they both watch each other backs like a community watches each other.:3
I'm looking forward to checking out all of these titles! Always good to get recommendations from each other...

yes, there is a book that inspired me this year. the book is called November Blues. it is about htis girl who lives with her mom and has no dad. also her boy friend just died and she is going to have his child. she has to deal with parents wanting the child that is not even born, old friends who thinks that they are the most important thing and a lost loved 1. also a very young mother. ( the girl is only 16!)
the book that changed me and affected me the most this year was diary of a wimpy kid because it tought me how to not be a nerd and the rules for not being a nerd.also it teaches you what to do and what not to do to get a girl to like you.
repost:the book that affected me the most was the sisters grimm b/c has to learn to trust everafters b/c they help her out alot and most of the time save her
the book that changed me was diary of a wimpy kid because it showed that bullying is a very big social issue in life.
the book that has changed me is the tale dark and grimm because it has showed me a whole new genre that i could start looking into.
Another book that changed me in a way was a book called THe Girl Named Mister. Its about a girl who is very close to God, but when she gets a boyfriend every thing down hill from there. It tought me that you don't have to mold your life to fit someone else's life. I LOOOVVVEEEE that book!!!!!!!!!!!!!
one book that really changed me in a way was "dear bully". it makes me want to write letters to bullies, bystanders, parents, etc because it makes me understand how bullying can effect people in so many ways and it can really bring people down. this book inspires me A LOT !
another book that changed me in a way was "the skin im in". this book...OMG...it made me think about my life and i can really relate to the main character, Maleeka because we are both darksin and sometimes has a low self-esteem; but from this book i noticed that not everyone is your friend and will turn on you we things get real. also, it made be beleive that if you dont care about yourself no one else will ! i recommand this book to ALL girls that have a low self-esteem and girls that are "different" from others
a book that changed me the most was I Thought We Were Friends, it changed me b/c it showed me that you'll always have true friends and the bad friends will always reveal themselfs in the end.
another book that changed me was Smile. It changed me b/c it taught me that you will always have troubles and problems in life and life will never be perfect.

I agree with you because I'm getting braces and it help me to get ready for the things I have to do while I have my braces on. Smile changed me because I could really relate to Raina's problem and that her friends are making fun of her. I loved this book!!! I would recommend this book to anybody who is getting made fun of and/or is getting braces or already has braces.
701 Classmates, can you please check my page out about this bullying video?! We need to make this viral in order for the 7 bullies to get caught. Here's the link:http://www.goodreads.com/story/show/2...
Another book that changed me was "Cooper Sun" by Shardon M. Draper. It changed me because i always thought slavery was cruel and hurtful but this book showed me that slavery is like Hell on Earth. In the story there is a girl named Amari but is forced to change her name to Myna because she is a slave. Amari/Myna was beaten, raped, stripped naked, and been the victim of losing everyone she love until she meets another slave named Polly, but she is WHITE. Polly has also been a victim of losing her family. I love this book even though i'm still reading!!! I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about slavery READ THIS BOOK!!!
another book that changed me was "the girls" by amy goldman koss. this book changed me because i always think that everybody i talk to is my friend and i trust a lot of people but when i read this i realized that the people "closest" to you can hurt you the most! it taught me to not trust everyone i meet and to be aware of the people in my surroundings. i am so glad for books because i never knew how much stuff you can get from it and how much they relate to your everyday life. im gratefull for ms.douglas because she showed me that :)

a book that changed me in a way is "Right Behing You" because it teaches a lesson about true redeption. Also, it shows me how that if you dont forgive yourself then no one else will. this book also showed me that the saying "what goes around comes around" but i also think everybody deserves a second chance.
