Eighth Grade Bites discussion

I am about half way into the book and it is starting to get really suspenseful. The character Vladimir a teenage vampire has recently found his dads journal he kept before he died and he is learning a lot of new things about his dad that he never knew before. He is learning about this secret vampire society thing called Elyse or something like that. His dad broke a rule of this vampire society by marring a human. So now i guess these hunters are out to find the Dad but they do not know he is dead. Vlad thinks one is his substitute teacher Mr. Otis because he has all the same characteristics as Vlad and he has a vampire "symbol" on his wrist that Vlad saw.

It's pretty good, but the sequels are better.
