And it's the best cover of the series so far - and that applies to all places the book is published. Simply as it has a better cover, I order all of my CLV books from the US.

I agree too and I think Jonah was a bit disappointed too. I can't wait to see/read what happens next....

with the way Drink Deep ended, I really look forward to this one. So many changes happened or have started because of what happened in Drink Deep. Things should be interesting. The RG issue should be good.

I felt the reunion was a bit rushed. I would have liked a bit more Ethan/Merit time. After all the heartbreak she went through, she deserved (and us readers deserved) a bit more snuggle/intimate time! I think Chloe needs to become a bit more comfortable writing the romance scenes. She does a great job with the action, and plot development, but the closeness between Ethan and Merit needs to be connected to the reader.

I am very much looking forward to Biting Cold!

I completely agree. It was like she needed to finish the book in an hour or something.

Agreed. I mean the previous romance scenes I still felt we only got a little and seemed a tad bit rushed. For the reunion I expected to much more. I was very disappointed.

It was definitely upsetting that we had to wait till the end of the book for all the action and then it was over too fast! Hopefully we will get a lot more details on the road trip in the next book!!!!

LOVE the cover...I just hope that we do get more Ethan/Merit time. But also im almost dying to find out about the prophecy from Gabriel.

The cover is awesome. I loved everything that happened in Drink Deep, so I'm excited to see what'll happen in Biting Cold and I'm definitely looking forward to some Merit/Ethan stuff.

Just thinking out loud, does anyone else think Morgan was the one who attacked Merit? I just find it weird that they have that telepathic connection which is only supposed to be between a vampire and their master. Plus he did work under Celina who is the one who orchestrated the attack.

That's not a bad theory, especially considering how loyal he is to Celina. I could see him doing that.

“Lock it,” Ethan directed, and I closed and locked the door behind us, my heart thudding in anticipation.

When I turned around again, he was pulling his half-buttoned shirt over his head, and his shoes were gone. His Cadogan medal hung just above the scar that puckered his chest—the mark he bore from taking Celina’s stake.

I felt like the last book was filler until the last chapter, but I think the next book will be good!!!

I bought Hard Bitten on release day, but didn't read it until Drink Deep was released (this was based on feedback about people being upset at the end of HB...). I managed to avoid all spoilers, too. I am so glad I did wait, otherwise my anger/frustration/depression would have been unbearable inbetween. I didn't have to wait all that time for that last chapter - it was just a matter of a day or so!

OMG!!!!!!!! Where r u finding these snippets! They really dont tell us much but i am just so happy with have E & M toegther again. ahhh sigh.

Oh, I need more!!! Is Eathan really back? I really hope so.

Oh. I WANT MORE! But I always want more when it comes to this series... but I guess its a bit of both good and aargh, because you do get to the end of Chapter 1 and i know i went: REALLY-youre-going-to-throw-that-in-there-now-and-naturally-end-it-on-a-cliff-hanger-type-of-note-ughhhhh-i-hate-you-right-now-but-not-really :P

The only thing worse than killing Ethan, would be to kill him again. No - it's not THAT bad, but it definitely tells ya who else will be a thorn in Ethan and Merit's sides.

What in the bloody hell is Tate? Seriously after that first chapter i find myself wondering what is he...demon, fallen angel, freaky magical guys? WHAT!

Fingers crossed CN will reveal a a steamy return of lovers for Ethan & merit and tell us what tate is in this one!

I agree. Its like she had a word limit and had run out. It was like a quick description outline of events... hated it. I like this cover alot. It makes you feel like she is on a journey and truely seperated from the others.

I have been thinking the same thing! That connection should not be there unless he was her attacker. Remember when he met her at Red in the first book? He was shocked by her name. She was only four days old. Maybe he hadn't heard that she survived? I just think Morgan is such a worm!! I wouldn't put it past him!
