Jenny (jennyscreams) | 7 comments I'd like to hear someone's opinion on this as well..I'm in the same boat as you. I think I'm only missing a few books, but I might be wrong...and I know I read them all out of order. Which I don't really think matters, but I like reading things by when they were written.

I've just been going by what's on Wikipedia. Have you guys noticed that list missing any books?

Jenny (jennyscreams) | 7 comments I haven't noticed anything missing, but I'm not familiar with all of his books...did you notice anything missing? Oh also, where do you buy your Grant books nowadays? I usually shop at my Half Priced Books store, and I always clear them out of his books, but they never have many to begin with. I've gotten some on amazon.com, that seems to be a good source.

So far I haven't found anything that's not on that list. We'll see if I come across something though in my searches. =P I typically check Half Priced Books for Grant novels. There's also a really amazing sci-fi book store in my area...the place has a huge selection. Last time I was there I took home a stack of Grant novels for future reading. I actually think I'll go up there again today and get some more. Last time I left behind a few of his older novels like the classic monster ones.

Mike I like your idea about making a list of Oxrun novels. There isn't a real good list on Wikipedia. It's kind of like a whole bibliography of the author with certain novels flagged as being related to Oxrun. We should make our own chronological list for the group. =)

Jenny (jennyscreams) | 7 comments that looks like a list of all of them but I see one that is in the wrong order for copyright sake. I think most of the confusion is with the fact that Tor books reprinted all of the books in the late 80's, and half of these books were written in the late 70's and early 80's.
The first edition of The Hour of the Oxrun Dead was published in 1977, so as far as I can tell it is the first Oxrun book.

Oh good, I found another list of his books...and I think it is separated well. Only mistake that I see is that Dark Cry of the Moon should be with The Soft Whisper of the Dead, and The Long Night of the Grave, since it's part of the trilogy.

Most of the Oxrun books that I have are the Tor reprints, I do have the Sound of Midnight in the Tor version and the original version...I think I will have to get the original versions of the others too :)
