This is a Christmas story of sorts, although it doesn't take place entirely at that time of year.

It concerns young Tom, who loves Christmas, and his widowed mother, who has reservations. Tom makes a seasonal wish and conveys it to Father Christmas. Then he changes his mind. The adults only complicate matters.

This story will tell you whether or not Tom's wish came true.

NOT suitable for young children, as it contains strong adult emotions.

Life’s funny – I always thought my book Ice King was more an adventure story mixed with with a spot of politics, but readers have commented that it is more a romance book, than an adventure / naval type of story.

My historical/western/time travel romance series is titled the Yellowstone Romance Series. The first book takes place in the Rocky Mountains of the early 1800's, at the dawn of the fur trapper era.

Both books involve time travel. Book 3, titled Yellowstone Awakening, will be available March 1st, and Book 4, Yellowstone Dawn, is set tentatively to release in early April 2012. These two books do not have time travel elements in them. The fifth (and probably final) book in the series, tentatively titled Yellowstone Deception, is in planning and outlining stages. I also plan to release a prequel novella soon titled The Sky People.

Alfie is at the centre of the story.His childhood was shattered by the death of his older brother and he has spent his entire adult life roaming the seaside resorts of Britain, trying to recapture the happiness he felt during the holidays he spent there with his family.

All the fun of the Fair is a novel which is broad in scope, encompassing several families and a host of characters, all linked via number 73, the park, Alfie, or the town itself. We follow them as they work through their various conflicts, each of them hoping for redemption and happiness.

In Happy Mount Park, where Alfie works, there is an ice cream van operated by Lee Etchman, a lothario with a beer belly and an obsession with his teenage assistant, Tania Streatham.

Lee's older wife, the rich and glamorous Loriana Cipriani, is sick of his affairs. One evening, while walking on the promenade, she meets Alfie. They learn that they share Italian roots and strike up a friendship which offers hope to both of them.

You will begin the novel pitying Alfie but his sheer determination and will to keep getting up when life knocks him down will have you rooting for him, urging him to succeed in his quest to leave his dark past behind.
