Brianna When i first read What Happened to Goodbye, I was shocked by how the book reminded me so much of my life. I instantly fell in love with the book because it was intresting, funny, and realistic. Dave, a character in the book helped Mclean in so many ways. I wish she would have realized that before she kept moving so many times. I think This book will help kids that are in "constantly moving" situations live a better life. It will show to them how to live life and just to always be themselves in every situation. Its a girls guide to love when your a "travel girl."

Delaney it was wonderful in the beginning but then it fell flat for me at the end. i don't know why, but i felt like it wasn't resolved yet.

Nikkie I didn;t love this as much as Dessens other works but I loved the end bit with the model I don't think I've ever hear of anything so sweet.

whats the model part in the end

nine The model of the town. Where their is like two little model pieces of them, sitting by the curb. I thought that was cute too.

Danya I liked it, but I was a little disappointed. I don't think it was as good as some of her other books. I didn't get to know Dave enough/see enough of them together to really have loved it.

It sort of felt like Dave wasn't really needed but I thought the part where she hits him on the head with the basketball was hilarious! Ohhh NOW i get the peices after looking back at the book, yes, that was creative and sweet, Sarah Dessen always adds something (Ex: The Truth About Forever-catering)

Kimberly This book was super boring,I don't think Sarah Dessen is a good author.

Woah! You can not judge her if you have only read this one book by her. I will admit, I thought this book was not as good as her other ones. You should try some of her other ones before you judge.

it's okay to think that. The first book I read from her was Lock and Key and that bore the heck out of me because the flashbacks were way boring but I think you should read This Lullaby which is a different style for her because they're no flashbacks or Just Listen personally because I thought that the events added up. But I guess if you're a vamp.,werewolf, paranormal type this wouldn't fit your taste.

I have read another book by her! I've read The Truth About Forever, the books are just too borning.

Charlotte I really enjoyed this book, great writing and great quotes!

Robyn travers I really liked this book, it tells young people ( tis may apply to teenagers more than adults ) t accept yourself and it's okay to get attached , it shows you're human . Also the kiss between Dave and McLean came after the problem started , I've read just listen and along for the ride and they always officially get together before a problem accours :)

Marilyn You need to stay with the book. I think Dessen tried to give the reader the background of Mclean. Dessen certainly portrays the loneliness that children who are part of parental divorce experience. Mclean's parents meant well, however they really did not know what she was going through. Her high school friends were helpful by just being there. Dessen took time to write an ending that was complete; she did not rush to finish it. Parts of it brought on tears for me.

Lily I thought it was quite boring actually.

Erika F i thought it was okay, but i think that she should have talked more about dave, and about the divorce. i also didnt like the ending.

Pamela It wasn't one of her best books. Hope she writes another book soon. They should make her books into movies, they would be so good as romance movies. *sigh

Atmika Singh I didn't like it very much. To be honest I got bored after about 100 pages or so.
It's not really bad but then it's not as good as some of her other novels.
