I prefer Edward. I do not like Jacob. He is very arrogant. I understand that he is in love with Bella and that he is jealous and who wouldn't be when you got competition? But Jacob's jealousy has gotten a bit out of hand.

1. In New Moon, Jacob betrays Bella by putting the motorcylce in front of the house knowing how Charlie would react and know he would ground Bella and keep her from seeing Edward.

2. In Eclipse, Jacob forces a kiss on Bella and acts like she was all for it and then he gets even more arrogant and says to Bella "you will be thinking about me tonite"

How immature and arrogant of him.

I prefer Edward and I think he is best for Bella. He is mature, generous and would never do anything to hurt Bella intentionally.

i know thats true...but i like both Jacob and Edward. If you could put both of there personalities together then that guy would b my perfect guy. I find Edward sometimes a little too "perfect". Jacob seems more natural, and real...not like either of them are. :(.

Well I finished Eclipse last night and after reading the end, I am starting to have more respect for Jacob and I am liking him more.

In Breaking Dawn, I love Jacob.

Everywhere else, no.

sorry, it was close but Edward has won my heart. Yes, he is a little too perfect but I wouldn't call Jake your average guy. I'm sorry but you ahve to admit that after all of Edward's 90 years of being 17 and Jake only 16 that Edward is a bit more mature. Take the conversation in the tent for example (one of my favorite parts) in Eclipse Chapter 22. Edward is really expressing his feelings and Jacob is craking jokes.
In all truth, you have to think about both men as being (unfortunatly) fictional though I would take either one if he crossed my path.

EDWARD all the way!!! Jake is just so sarcastic!! I hate him!!Edward is so totally my type he's more down-to-earth than Jacob!! And yes I know Jen-Jane (??) that they are both fictional characters but I try not to think about that!!! I always think of Edward right before I go to sleep then I can dream about him!!

Tottaly! Jacob drives me crazy!! And He put Bella in huge danger by telling her he was a werewolf! What was he thinking when Sam told him he can't? Edward never told Bella he was a vampire she just guessed.

and he put bella through a whole bunch of crap when he kept putting the moves on her even when she told him not to :(
