I've read the collected works of Robert E. Howard multiple times, though they are all short stories, no real "book" (in the novel sense) to speak of. As far as novel, I'd probably say Game of Thrones.
Alright, finally got talked into joining teh goodreads.Ugh, 'favorite of all time' is tough. My interests tend toward the fickle, but I'll see if I can't force-pick something.
Hrm. Fiction: American Gods, Neil Gaiman. Non-Fiction: Dragons of Eden; Speculations on the Evolution of Human Intelligence, Carl Sagan.
Sagan's probably holding down the top of the list for favorite nonfiction writer. Gaiman is in the running for favorite fiction writer, but doesn't produce enough volume for me. Tough call.
I just read American Gods and was kind of underwhelmed by it. It was good, but not as good as I thought it was going to be. My favorite fiction is Replay by Ken Grimwood. I don't know if I could pick a favorite non-fiction, even though I do like to read it. It's just hard to compare something like a David Sedaris collection to a science book.
American Gods was not near what I thought it would be. I really didn't like it. Just finished The Godwulf Manuscript by Robert Parker. If you like detective mysteries, it's a must. I loved it.
My favorite books are The Magician's Nephew, followed closely by the first Zork book The Forces of Krill. I've read alot of books but I always go back to those two...Am I really an Adult?
My favorites are definitely Dan Brown's Robert Langdon series, "Angels & Demons", "The DaVinci Code", "The Lost Symbol", and "Inferno".
