Kim Hartsfield (agnkim) This doesn't have to be your favorite... Sometimes that title can infer something outside the realm of readability and be biased by outside influences (for instance, one of my favorite books is The Hobbit, not because it's a great book, which it is, but because it reminds me of 1982 and discovering Tolkien and playing Dungeons & Dragons and... well...).

So, what is just a great book we should read?

Mine: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time

One of my favorites books I've ever read. It's the story of four generations of Kikuyu tribesmen set as the British begin to colonize Africa. It's an amazing story (and wonderfully written) but it also really challenges you to think about a lot of things you take for granted about the way life should be, and change in general.

I have read it, and it's very good... Well worth your time...

Brian | 4 comments my favorite book that I like for reasons other than the content of the book would be The Winter of Our Discontent. the book reminds me that I'm supposed to take big risks for my family and that selling your sole to the American
dream can lead to a place where you don't have a sole left to care about.
