Edward walks into the office, glad to be away from Zach. But, with the reminder of Zach and Cami hugging and the previous events last year a question started to pick at his brain. Are those two still going out? Were they ever going out since it was Zach who said it and not Cami. (And who knows if truth has ever escaped his mouth.) The thought of asking her about it was embarrassing though, it would just make things awkward. Edward spaced out figuring what he was even doing here or that Cami was even in the room.

"Um Edward?" Cami waves a hand on front of his face to break is deep thinking. She smiles brightly and hands him his schedule. "Here!"

"Huh? Oh sorry. My mind usually does not slip so easily." Edward stated as he took the slip of paper with a nod of his head as gratitude. He quickly scanned his schedule before asking, "So what classes do you have?"

"Period 1: History
Period 2: Elements
Period 3: Science
Period 4: Math
Period 5: Training " She states and looks up at him expectantly, "you?"

"Health, history, science, math, then weaponry." Edward said as he resisted the urge to laugh in an invisible Zach's face. "I guess I will be seeing you in science and math then." He added on.

"Awesome!" She smiles, making her blue eyes gleam.

Edward stared at Cami as she texted to someone, when just like that he blurted out the question, "Are you still dating Zach?" His eyes hiding his emotions to stop from changing the answer.

Her blue eyes turn up to him, "I actually don't know. We weren't in touch much in the summer." She sighs and put her phone in her back pocket. "Why?" She smiles

Edward's glance was directed at a plant on the office desk to hide his burning face. "Well, it just seems like he is not that much into you, that's all."

Her expression looks slightly pained, "what makes you say that?"

"He always seems to abandon you, unless I am with you. It seems you are just a trophy to him or something..." Edward said. His hands were in his pockets, so while he was using his ice to cool his face down it did not show. Once he felt it was back at normal temperature, he looked back at Cami as if he had lost interest in the plant. "But what do I care if you are with him or not. It's your choice, and I can never really change it." He said with a hint of ice to his tone.

She reaches up and drapes her arms around his neck, whispering to him, "you confues me, Eddy."

Edward had to use more ice to chill his face. "H-Have you forgotten not to call me that?" He responded as he took a step back from Cami to get some space.

She rolls her eys and punches him in the arm, "Whatever, Eddy."

Gives her a playful glare, "You are not going to stop, now are you?" He asked with a smirk.

An impish grin appears on her face,"nope."

"Of course." He said with a sigh to end it. Edward's shoulder started to become sore, which reminded him he still had his bag he needed to drop off. "Well, see you later. I will be in my dorm if you need me." He said as he walked past Cami with a small wave good-bye.

She sighs and goes to find Zach.
