Gideon's Sword discussion

While I am still enjoying the Pedergast books, I really did like Gideons Sword. Can't wait for the next one.

I was pretty happy w/ fever dream, but less so w/ cold vengeance...still love pendergast, though!

I liked gideon's sword...I'm also glad that glinn (can't remember how it was spelled) shows up in the new series, I always found him fascinating!

I enjoyed this one too. The second one(Gideon's Corpse) not so much.

While enjoyable in the Ludlum-great-reading-on-the-beach-sense, it feels like this series has been written for an immediate filming with say Tom Cruise.

While I agree with the sentiment concerning Tom Cruise & Jack reacher, I used this person to illustrate a point.
The Gideon series feels like it was written for a straight adaptation for cinema. And the current actionhero is Mesieur Cruise.

I kinda of like Gideon's character. He seems real like can be anyone of us. Need little help from everyone surround him.But he's also smart, especially nice heart.
