I am way behind, I just started reading Eragon. Finally, after my son hounded me to read it for years. :) I agree with Erik
I would like to put up a poll for November reads this week, so if you have any books you would like to nominate please do so soon. :)

It would be an easy way to try a new genre for those of us you have little time or funds. ;)
Well, I have been told I should read Time's Arrow by Martin Amis (ebook or paperback edition), which I am hoping to start reading in November. I nominate this book for November group read.
I think short stories would be fine. If you have a suggestion that would be great.

Has anyone read The Help? It seems like everyone's reading it.
I read it this past summer and really enjoyed it. It is a thought provoking read to be sure. :)

The nominations will go up in a poll, and I will add the November reads based only on the results. If you nominate a book please vote in the poll, as I will be counting only those votes in determining the reads for the month.
If anyone would like to suggest a theme for the month we could try that too, although that might have to wait for December? Any thoughts?
