Book Club/Troubles discussion

This is an awesome book! Its about a female cat who has two kittens, and she's close to death and her kittens are even closer. So she hides underneath a house in the woods. Unfortunately, the house is that of an evil hunter who wants to kill every animal in the woods, and his bloodhound. Fortunately, the bloodhound is old and poorly treated, making him love the cat and her kittens. He acts as a father to the kittens and protects them. But then all this bad and sad stuff happens. I wont tell you though. You gotta read it!
