If you saw my latest video (the cycle of Democracy) these people are fighting against the encroaching bondage I see as inevitable, I like their cause I support them. Unfortunately I'm no hacker so I can't join them really... Their hacking techniques aren't destructive just so you know, it's like standing in the doorway of a building, they aren't hurting anything but they aren't letting people in.
I feel like overall it's quite a good organization (?), but...I mean, hacking that epilepsy website? Not something I can support....
I didn't read everything that was hacked, what was the operation called when they hacked the epilepsy site?
They're fighting for free speech above everything. Even if they disagree with something you say as long as it isn't censorship they'll defend you.

Epilepsy Foundation forum invasion, according to Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epilepsy...
Yes, that's good. But still...they can be a bit douchy.

Ummm
" It stated that "apparent members of Anonymous" had denied responsibility for both attacks and posted that it had been the Church of Scientology who carried them out.[3] News.com.au reported that the administrators of 7chan.org had posted an open letter claiming that the attacks had been carried out by the Church of Scientology "to ruin the public opinion of Anonymous, to lessen the effect of the lawful protests against their virulent organization" under the Church's fair game policy.[1]"

Oh...sorry, I was looking through the article you posted and it had a link to the main article about the invasion, the one I posted, but I didn't read through it >.< Then the Church of Scientology is douchy.

Hmm wow well one thing with anonymous is it's not a centralized thing, they have few rules and no head, so really a few members of it doesn't signify the whole group but well it's a problem. And yes the Church of Scientology is douchy... and weird.
Yes, I suppose that's true. And haha, I love them...Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster as well :D
FSM is awesome... The problem with Scientology is it's a real religion, people actually believe the crap.
Yeah... The Scientology is unfortunately not a paradicol religion like FSM... fortunately few people believe it. lol look up The Thinking Atheist's video on it, it shows all the ridiculousness that they believe.
I find them hilarious, really, but boy do I wish they had carried out that attack on the Westboro Baptist Church...
Okay, I have to bring something up: this brief NPR report. Now, on the one hand, I like the idea of someone unmasking corrupt officials and journalists who're working for drug cartels. On the other, it raises a very important question: why hasn't Anonymous done something like this before, if they have the power? I, personally, get frustrated with them a lot - they pick strange battles and at times act like terrorists - but I would have a lot more respect for them if they acted in blatant defense of the public good more often. I'm sure there are a lot of people who would be more willing to listen to their demands if they were, you know, taking down drug cartels instead of defending someone accused of sexual assault.

The problem with Anonymous leading many strong attacks is that they're not the most organized. It's anonymous, if you're not in it you don't know much about it... I don't even know if they have a real leadership.
How do you even join? Go to 4chan and be like "Eyy. So I know how to hack. Anyone on here part of Anonymous"? :P
