i own this book. When i bought this book i didnt really know what it would be about, but its really good
Yeah I was amazed by the quality of the writing. The characters were so realistic and everything pretty much flew together perfectly.I didn't really love this book though. I give it like 3.5 stars - I'm reading Delirium right now (by the same author) and I actually like Before I Fall better, I think.

I really loved Delirium and that is why I ended up reading Before I Fall. I am now a huge fan of Lauren Oliver because these books made me think and I was way more emotional than I am when I read most books. Really amazing!

Just finished Delirium. Didn't like it quite as much as Before I Fall. Both had great writing quality, but lacked enough emotion for me, I guess.
I definitely liked Before I Fall WAYYYYYY more the Delirium...I cried like a nut at the end, but Delirium seemed like a totally different author and I have this bad feeling it may fall into that obnoxious way to overdone love triangle thing WAYYYY to many trilogies do lately.
okay you are making me want to read Delirium now that i finished Before i fall to compare and contrsat her writing
hahaha, it is SOOOO drastically DIFFERENT!!! I wouldn't have even thought it was the same AUTHOR!!!!!
I absolutely adored this book. I too enjoyed it way more than Delirium. Before I Fall was an emotional roller coaster. I hated how it ended but I also saw no other way for it to end. Great book.

I definitely completely recommend Delirium! It was also amazing. I saw a lot of similarities and differences in the writing between the two. The stories are really different but I feel like both have very powerful emotional writing. Especially since I cried like crazy during both and couldn't think about anything else for the next week LOL

I liked the concept of Before I Fall a lot, but I really ... really couldn't get over the ending. My brain just wasn't satisfied by the end of it. I loved the characters, and the growth of the main characters. I loved the voice that Lauren Oliver put into her writing - but that end. I can't get over it.I have Delirium on my shelf, ready to be read.
(I know this really isn't the place, but if anyone wants a copy of Before I Fall, I have an advanced readers edition that I'm giving away, you can check the giveaway section for more information). I was lucky enough to get a copy for free, so I'm sharing the wealth :)
It is a good read, even though that ending... grrr... But I loved everything else about it. And part of me even liked the ending (which makes the other part of me hate it more).
Trying to be ambiguous as to not give any spoilers ;) Especially since it's not the end of the month yet!
I listened to both books from Audible while doing my daily commute. I listened to Delirium first and loved it so much I bought Before I Fall. They were very different books to me. I liked the differences. I am now a huge Oliver fan. She has a terrific YA voice. AND...I cried at the end of both.
I love this book. The author was so talented and it was so great. I couldn't wait to see what happened each day and I loved how it was something completely new and it just made me think what I would do if I could have a redo. Delirium was also, great. I know it's not what we're discussing but I do recommend it to anyone who liked this book. I cried at the end :3
This one wasn't quite as sad but still pretty moving. But good book, really. I forget what rating I gave it on here, but I'm sure it was four stars.

You should it was amazing! Definitely one of my all time favorites!

I actually didn't like this book too much. It was a really slow read for me and I didn't really get into it until the end, even then I didn't like it that much. I honestly can't tell you what I didn't like about it, just that I didn't find it very interesting.

When her boyfriend (before i fall) says 'five minutes', I was in stitches.
i havent finished reading Before I Fall. I thought it was kind of hard to read since the whole point of the book is that the day repeats itself over and over again, but even if things change it started to bore me to the point were even thinking about reading it makes me want to sleep.
I totally cried at the end too! The ending was awesome and nerve wracking.I didn't know what to expect...maybe a happy ending because she was trying her best but as a reader, I was submerged my strong emotions and that's what matters!
I haven't read delirium yet but i will soon. I really liked this book, at first i didn't know if i would because i thought every chapter was going to be the same but with little changes. I was surprised i thought it was sad. Did she die at the end because i was a little confused about that???

Yes she died at the end! I really didn't think she was so I kept holding myself off from crying and kept telling myself it will be okay she will fix it and wake up. But she didn't. She sacrificed herself to save Juliet.

I actually usually read paranormal books but this book was recommended to me and I loved. I was glad i read it.
I liked this book but it wasn't like my absolute favorite. It was a lot different than Delirium although I liked both of them. I think I liked Delirium better, although I can't recall much from Delirium since I read it a long time ago.
Did anyone else want to throw this book out the window? Because I seriously hated the ending. I was really enjoying the book, and the ending sucked
I wasn't sure if I was going to like it when I started to read it. But OMG It was incredible, and that ending!! Ahhh Lauren Oliver never disappoints! I love Delirium and can't wait to the next one :D
Im reading Before I fall right now, i really like it so far. But why is it on a thread of dystopian books? hahhaa anyway after this one I think i'll pick up Delirium to see how it goes ;)
I didn't really like Samantha Kingston because she wasted her time trying to correct things for only a day? I feel like she should have correct things before. Her realization just kicks in on her final hours which is ridiculous. It's boring when the events are repetitive. In fairness with the protagonist she realize all her faults before she dies. (It's expected she will die). I also don't like her circle of friends for being jerks.

Summary: What if you had only one day to live? What would you do? Who would you kiss? And how far would you go to save your own life?
