CCOOOL!
I'm kind of saving most of my poems for songs for Musickit...But here's one I was planning for her to say in the future.

It was for after a battle and some cats had died.


Slumber through twilight, sleep through the dawn,
Bright in our memory from first light each morn,
Rest through the winter beneath the soft snow,
And in the spring, when bright blossoms show.
Warriors brave, who gave all you could give,
Offered their lives so that others could live
No one can tell what my heart longed to say,
When they had to leave here. And I had to stay.


Like it? And if you don't how should I improve it?

this isn't exactly for the roleplay or warriors...but it's a poem that i wrote---
I see you there
Girl in blue
Do you see me too?
Why are you sad
Girl in blue
Whatever has happened to you?
A face of an angel
Girl in blue
But is that a devil too?
Such feelings clashing

Oh what have you been through?
Girl in blue

I see you in the mirror

darkness falls,
cats lay,
bodies ruined,
spirits astray.

few lived,
many died,
battle spoke,
tranquility lied.

the dawn is bloody,
the future black,
evil has taken many souls,
there's no turning back.

there's worse than death,
lives lay in ruin,
repentance found them,
all to soon.

we need to leave,
the scene is wrong,
the time is right,
we've waited long.

I sort've just made this up at this instant...

Rawr! The cry of battle is signaled.
Boom, shake, Rumble.
The sound of paws answer.
Clans clash, sometimes together.
Cats die, while warriors are born.
Some lifes end and some begin.
But all are hurt, with some to starclan.
Some mourn, but never cry.
While others celebrate,
a vicious victory.

Do you like it? Its free verse.

The Seasons

Snow is melting,
Colors changing,
Greens and yellow,
Pink and purple,
Flowers blooming,
Apple blossoms,
Faces glowing,
Baby chipmunks,
Spring time is here.

It does not last,
Seasons change,
Better or worse,
Circle of life.

The sun is hot,
School is over,
Multiplied bugs,
Mosquitoes bite,
Swimming lessons,
Independence,
Vacation time,
Go to the beach,
Shopping for school…

It does not last,
Seasons change,
Better or worse,
Circle of life.

Leaves are falling,
Winds are blowing,
Colder, colder,
Jumping, digging,
Through leaf piles,
Brown and golden,
Red, Orange, Yellow,
School has started,
Homework is back.

It does not last,
Seasons change,
Better or worse,
Circle of life.

The first snowflake,
Leads to the fun,
Sledding, snowmen,
Soft, warm blankets,
Hot chocolate,
Warm winter clothes,
Nice holidays,
Visiting friends,
And family.

Even winter,
Though it seems long,
Cannot stay now,
It must move on,
To start again.
Circle of life.

Pretty long! I like it!

Here's a funny one I wrote up, It's a small ditty I have for Musickit:

If I were a leaf upon a tree,
I would live quite happily,
I’d grow up flat and green and big,
Unless of course I was a twig,
A twig with a leaf open its end,
And then the leaf would be my friend,
I’d grow to such a wondrous length,
And from the branch I’d take my strength.
If I were a branch open a tree,
With leaf and twig for company,
I’d grow so round and fair and trim,
Sprouting from a great stout limb,
But if I were a limb all think and wide,
Branch twig and leaf I’d hold with pride,
And they would all depend on me,
And the mighty trunk of my big tree.
Then if I were a tree with bark for husk,
I’d stand up firm from dawn ‘til dusk,
And limb branch twig and leaf would be,
All through the season part of me!

Warriors wake to the stop of the rain
They look into the sky
To see the color of gray the same
And never they question why
But slowly as they look away,
The colors start to change.
A signal to the medicine cat of the danger on the way
For a prophecy was given to her moon and moons ago
That they would be attacked by who? they did now know
When they would be attacked, it said
When the sky was colored
Violet
Indigo
Blue
Green
Yellow
Orange
And Red

They gathered
While the moonlight shone
to talk for enternity

Evil enters souls
Driving them to limits
Twisting their faith
And making them kill
Leaving them
Stripped of life
Bleeding love
Yet trying to fight
Fight the darkness
But they will give up
Never rising
Because of those dead
The blood is on their paws
And they embrace it
Even now
In the shadows
They've lost it all
And they kill to live
To live in torment
Even now
They cannot rest
And there they lie
Never wishing for another chance
Being brave
As they die to serve many
That they killed
For themselves
And now they rest
In pain forever.
