Book Club/Troubles discussion

A future society who believes love is a disease and at a certain age everyone gets the cure, is assigned to go to college or a job, and who will be their spouse. I think it includes how many children you can have as well. Lena, the main character, does something she never wanted to do. She falls in love before she could take the cure.

I can't wait till the next book comes out!

I hope so too. (view spoiler)[ It won't be the same without Alex. I think if anything they will cure him and he is going to forget about Lena. Or at least his feelings for her. Also like all young adult novels there will be a third person to make a love triangle haha. (hide spoiler)]

The problem is (view spoiler)[it reminds me a lot of Uglies. She's not mean like the Uglies main character was but still. She has to live in the wild now like Uglies... Anyway If he does get cured hopefully he'll be like her mother. (hide spoiler)]

And (view spoiler)[ since Alex has survived so long pretending he was cured, then if the cure doesn't work for him he can pretend again. I just hope they don't pair him up with someone and Lena sees him with her. Oh geez I sense misunderstandings already haha. (hide spoiler)]

It's going to be one crazy book! Twists and turns everywhere!
