is your reading getting you through the increasingly dark nights this week?

Not so far. I keep falling asleep. But then, I've been getting up between 4:00-4:30. So that may, possibly be why I'm falling asleep early!

sleep is irresistable for me too at this time of year.
busy weekend, hardly any time for reading.
lots of dreaming tho

Someone must look into this and have them fix it....Speaking of dreaming, lately I've had repeated dreams about being lost in houses and hotels, or just about houses in general. Weird houses. Odd layouts, huge rooms with nothing in them, twisty hall- and stairways. Ugh. . ."Who do you think we can recruit for the job? As much as I hate it, I am wondering how it would impact the balance of nature?
This may be an archetypical dream. These are my most common dream settings, just as you say with the additional and prevelant one of a house in the process of construction. Often lost and surprised, not knowing how I got there.
I agree that the dream is very possibly archetypal-during a time of great change in my own life (lasting several years-very positive. Well, ultimately), I constantly dreamt of wandering through half-built houses or familiar ones with unexpected rooms suddenly appearing. And at least daylight savings time could go-it robs us of any light towards the late afternoon. And that was just created to help farmers in an agrarian economy.
Which we are not so much any more, eh?

I want a virtual room in my current place,a full on studio that I could work in, with all my art supples handy, that I could banish when company came.
I just had to stop in here for a quick second to let Kink know that I'm about to begin reading...
The Power and the Glory! :)
My only thought so far on The Power and the Glory...I need a chart or something to keep all these unnamed people straight! The dentist, the doctor, the lieutenant, the captain, the priest, the priest's wife, the captain's wife, the kid with the sick mother, the family (father, mother, 3 kids). And I'm only on like page 50. Egads!
The Dogs of Riga-in my on-going commitment to Nordic Noir in the 10 free minutes I have a day to read. (Just came from a school meeting for my son-he's 18 and they're concentrating on transitioning: GED, service coordinator, & so on. I was proud of him but feel a little overwhelmed)
