The Nate Gatsby (macenro) | 97 comments I'm not exactly an expert on running a group, so I'll keep everything pretty democratic. Anything you think we should do I will most like do...or at least think really hard about doing it.

Jeshu (jeshusauria) Maybe start a thread about books we didn't like and don't recommend under any circumstances, so we can rant a little bit too.

Mine would be a Random thread where we can talk about topics not related to goodreads and/or books! =)

Well, as someone else said a lot of us are into Crochet and other crafts, maybe we could have a thread in Misc. for discussions?

A section for writers to share there books and get ideas is a good idea!

message 7: by Libby (new)

Libby Since so many of the members are from all over the world, I'd really like each person to nominate the best book they've ever read that was published in THEIR country. I'd love to see if I could get those books in translation here in the US.

The Nate Gatsby (macenro) | 97 comments What do people think about a Genre section? That way you can post books that you enjoyed that fit a certain genre and find similar books that other people liked.

Sounds good to me, it would make things easier to find.

Patricia (pg4003) | 16 comments I love the idea of having a "Crafting" section, I love to do crafting. I also make and sell bags and purses, mostly geared toward Kindle/Nook and other ereaders, but I love any type of crafting and love to see what other people are making.

Hey guys! I think the Genre section is a great idea, it'll have to wait until the new year though.

Would anyone be interested in a book swap and or lending program? You can lend books on the kindle and nook (I think?) Once and only for the books that allow it, but you will have two weeks to read the book.
For physical books I was thinking the two people who wanted to trade books could agree on the books and send them to each other. We can make a list of the books we have that we can lend etc. if anyone would be interested in this.
