Um, please don't invite me to all these groups! Oh, and btw, I hate the twlight series except for twilight. They drone on and are very boring.

The major reason people THINK they hate Twilight is because they, like Rosalie, hate anything that gets this much attention that they aren't part of. And the only reason they feel left out is because they are too stubborn to read it and allow it to affect them the way it has the rest of us. OR they have a phobia of being grouped with a large amount of people like this - a need to be so individual that they would rather stay away from it than risk being sucked in. You have to WANT to experience something, allow yourself to be affected by a story or a person or an experience in order to fully enjoy it. They may be afraid to read it because they might like it and lose their individual stance against it, or afraid to really like it, let themselves feel it the way the characters do, because they might let their guard down and hope to have a real love relationship one day in life that they would risk everything for, or worse, because they refuse to remember what they felt like some time ago, if they had it once and then lost it.

just my thoughts from what I've observed so far

Wwwwwwowwww. I hate Twilight because its a suckish book. And it drones on forever about pointless crap, and everything is so un-realisrtic. It doesn't have to be some really real thing. Wow Rebourne, you think that people wouldn't like a book because it isn't about them? I hate it because:
~I don't like fantasy very much. And when I do, it has to be written well, not crap like Twilight (except the 1st one, it's alright)
~It drones on and on and on. It's taking them hundreds of pages in #4 to get to the freakin' fight! It just keeps on talking and never ever stops!
~There are no good vampires. The idea that vampires don't eat humans isn't very appealing to me.
~EDWARD WON'T DIE!!!!!! HE'S TOO PERFECT, LET HIM DIE!!!!!!!!!!!

twilight sucked but i love it. weird, huh? i mean, bella's soooo weak and nawt independant and would like stupidly give her life 4 him! it cheesy! + it gets boring wen they talk about how much they luv eachother 4 like 10 pages in new moon. edward's like: "before you, my life was a dark sky and then you came and shot across it, like a meteor..." CHEESY!!! but twilight is one of my fav books. weird, huh? (please dont hate me)

I don't get why people want to "protest" us twilight haters. We have opinions. You may love it, we think everyone is too perfect, Bella is a whiny idiot who depends on Edward way to much, and the vampires are all perfect, making the characters boring and predictable. The plot is boring stephanie meyer writes way to much about unimportant things and too little about important things and thinks her readers are too stupi to notice she's doing that.

Hello! I said I agree with you, even though I love twilight...

I didnt like it for 5 reasons:

1st. i dont like fantasy- and the book was not my type.

2nd. She uses muttered, murrmed, and whispered WAY to much

3rd. its long and if you ask me- pretty much slow paced and boring

4th. edward's personality is a. BLANK or b. not described at all

5th. i cant read long books unless there good. and if a long book is good i can read it easily, but twilight just didn't make me want to keep reading.


i read like 3/4+ of the first book- it was good from like 1/4- 1/2 of the way then the rest just i didnt like at all and stopped reading.

You create a group who's entire purpose is to insult someone of a different opinion than you. How did you not see it coming that said people who come to your group to confront you about it?

Seriously? You're questioning how someone can not like a book that you like? How egotistical. There will always be people who's opinions diverge from yours AND the majority. And just because a great number of people THINK Twilight is good, does not make it good.

Reasons why I hate Twilight:

1. Bella. She's whiny and inconsiderate, she's a damsel in destress, and she's EXTREME clumsy (I fall a lot, but come on, she's just way to extreme). She's also stupid. But oh, her looks are perfect, she's absolutely beautiful, and that's why Edward lovers her. Oh, and she smells absolutely delightful.
I told my friend that I didn't like Twilight and one reason was because of Bella
me: "Edward only likes her because she smells good."
her: "Well, she's also supposed to be really pretty..."
NOTHING about her personality.
Also, at her old school, she's this weird kid. In Forks, she's miss popular, miss i-get-asked-out-by-everyone-cuz-i'm-beautiful.

2. Edward. He's perfect in every way. Except that he can't stop himself from being in love. That's NOT a flaw. He's so perfect, he's boring. I don't like a book without flaws, why should I like a character without flaws? He's also a 107 year old virgin, and that's almost impossible, it's just to make him even more perfect... if that's possible.

3. The plot. I know other people have said this, but it's SO true. There is no plot. Their everyday and nightly love being described isn't interesting! The only "climax" scene is at the END, and Bella gets knocked out at the beginning of it! And they don't recount anything!

4. Stephenie Meyer. She's living through the book. She wishes she could find someone perfect, and making teen girls think that Edward is real and someday he'll like them. She also describes the kissing scenes too much, and the "Oh edward" "oh Bella" scenes too much, and not enough conflict! This goes along with #3.

5. The Twi-hards. I used to like Twilight. Then I read breaking dawn and thought it was the 2nd worst book ever. But then people's responses when I said I only liked it "HOW COULD YOU??!!! HOW COULD YOU HATE TWILIGHT???!!! I HATE YOU, TRAITOR!!!" I mean, what the hell? All this over a book that's not very good? COme on, get a life, Twilight lovers!

While I appreciate your zeal, this IS after all their group. Posting such lengthy discussions of why you hate Twilight will be perceived as being obnoxious. It does seem like you're trying to impress your opinion on them. I know this might not be the case, but they'll probably consider this spam or being rude. They may have started the group, but please retain some measure of maturity.

I have a question. I'm not saying this to be rude, so please don't look at it that way. I'm genuinely interested in your reply. Why do you insist that the opinions of those who don't like Twilight are invalid? Please don't give me an ambiguous answer like, "Because they are the best books EVAR!!". (Not to look down on you, but I have had Twilight fans answer this.)Not to mention that, even if they were "the best books ever", this would be irrelevant. People have different tastes. Why does not liking Twilight make someone stupid and/or weird?

We're trying to make you feel crappy. This group is full of idiotic people who can't accept that everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

People hate on Twilight either because they are HP fans and don't like the fact that there is actually some competition. Or they don't like the fact that its mainly a romance book for teenage girls. Excuse me and also for moms. And the fact that its doing so well frightens some people who want to see it fall.

We hate Twilight for good reasons.
Give me 5 GOOD reasons why you like it. explain each reason like I did up there.
I like romance books. Every heard of Jodi Picoult? I read her all the time and hr books are pretty romantic. And Twilight is NO competition for HP.

which HP did you read?
I started reading 1, and didn't like it, so i read the 3rd one 1st, then went back to the others. I LOVE them now.

Actually, I don't hate Twilight. As a matter of fact, I thought it was a relatively good book when I read it the first time. And New Moon too. Although, the reason I liked it was to read about Bella torturing herself. It's one of those books that seems good the first time you read it, maybe at the age of 14, but you realize a couple of years later that it really wasn't that good.

Harry Potter.... -_- That's what I have to say about that. I read them, and enjoyed them, the same way someone will occasionally eating twinkies and other unhealthy, over-sugary foods. So, no. I wouldn't say that I'm "jeluz" of the competition.

I read the first HP book and didnt like it very much.

When i first read Twilgith i LOVED it. I was obsessed!
Then i took a break from it while i was waiting for breaking Dawn to come out (did i mention how obsessed i was?) And i started reading well...good books! And the i read Breaking Dawn...and it was so crappy i went back to read Twilight and it was bad too! I re read the whole series, and it SUCKED!

Or at least i think it did.

i luv twilight, and i cant see why people hate it, but i do understand that they hate it. they are allowed that opinion. i sometimes say i hate people who hate twilight (see some of my twilight reviews, lol) but i dont. cuz i understand they are allowed an opinion. those of u who dont understand that are narrowminded and stupid! dont get me wrong i LUV twilight, but i do think that people should get their opinions.
now for those of u who hate twilight. stop getting mad at people who DO like it, that makes u just as bad as they r! and i do see alot of people who hate it that r yelling at people for liking it, just like people who luv it yell at u!
