I'm sure someone else has seen this besides me. I found it a truely inspiring film that gives us the courage to make a comeback even when it seems impossible.

Oh I love this film. It read great. I had read the book by Bethany and I loved the film. I'm glad the didn't dramatize the shark scene at all.

This was an epic movie. I loved it too!

Me too. I'm not too fond of sharks and blood anyways.

Me too. I saw pictures of the real Bethany Hamilton and the actress together and they look so much alike.

I think Carrie Undrwood did an okay job, but she could have been a bit better...

Hmm I dunno. I think she was fine. Maybe not exceptional since it was one of her first movies. But she did a good job.

She's a good singer and I think it was a good experience to act.

I love this movie!! It is sooo epically awesome, it made me cry the first time I saw it!

Yeah, I think I cried once or twice too.

i was in the theatre, so i was too scared to cry, but i had just won a bag of popcorn for winning a scavenger hunt, so i chowed down and plowed through that thing! my friend sitting next to me told me she had never seen me eat that fast before!

I got Soul Surfer for Christmas. :D

Awesome! I own and have read Soul Surfer: A True Story of Faith, Family, and Fighting to Get Back on the Board it was really good. And I thought the movie was awesome too!

I've never seen the movie, but I read a review from a Christian mom and she was very concerned about the abundance of immodesty in the movie, especially for her sons....

Well it is a surfing movie, so almost all the girls are in two piece swimming suits. And I can see her concern for her sons. As a girl watching it I was okay with the clothes (they were immodest but I still thought the over all story was amazing and uplifting).
