I'm kinda hating Stefan because he is at the side of evil and drinking human blood again, and he's telling Elana to stop thinking about him, so maybe she should...

yeah she should!i think he went a little bit to far when talking her into forgetting him...and damon is a more realistic character!he's got both his good and his bad side and no matter what elena puts him through by completely ignoring his feelings he'a always,always there for her..and when he drinks he's got it under control in contrast to his savage brother who could eat her alive!!so it's pretty clear to me..DELENA<3<3 all the way!!:]

based on the books only i think that Elena is better suited for Stephan, If this was an question on whose character is sexier or which personality i am most attracted too then the answer would be Damon.
If i give my opinion based on the television show then I'm honestly not sure who Elena should pick... in this last season Damon seems more stable but i think in the end true love with trump over all evil bla bla bla she will end up with Stefan. I cant really pick a "team" to side with because i know Elena is better suited for Stefan period.... but personally if i was her theres just something so sexy about Damon

This is based on the tv show. I only read the first two books of the series, and by the end of the second book, I already liked Damon better, but we all know she'll end up with Stefan...Ugh.

I recently started Season 3, before that, it was a no-brainer: team STEFAN. Now that Stefan is evil & treating Elena like shit, Damon, who is hot as fuck anyway, is looking more tempting as a choice...

I've been watching the show for a while now, but I quit four episodes ago because the plot line was just getting purely ridiculous. So, I started reading the books. The first book, is the only one I've read so far, so I have no idea of what's going to happen in the next ones, but Elena's so different in the books, it's so strange. She's quite innocent, sometimes a little dumb, and at the beginning she does push Stefan, a little. However, throughout the rest of the book, I've began to learn that she does actually feel. And that's what I like about it. As for the whole team Stefan, or team Damon; I was already team Stefan when I used to watch the show, and the books totally confirmed this for me. I don't like Damon's personality- I just really don't like him. He's no brother to Stefan at all, really.

Stefan bores me. Damon makes me laugh. And i disagree Damon has done a lot for his brother, and its not like Stefan was never an arsehole towards Damon. (i mean in the show, in the books Damon is a bastard but he's truly badass so i love him) xxx

I think she should pick Damon. If you fall in love with two people always pick the second one. If you were truly in love with the first person you wouldn't fall for the second.

i think in the books elena and stefan are a perfect match they belong with each other but in the show i think with damon but we all know she will end up with stefan at the end.
