Book Club/Troubles discussion

Katniss lives in a society where all of the districts except for the Capitol have to get a girl and a boy from each of the twelve districts to fight till the death against one another for the Capitol's amusement. This all happened because the districts tried to get out of under the Capitol's rule but they failed and the thirteenth district was even destroyed.
