Audrey (audreydear) Has anyone read it? I just finished it today and ohmygoodness I loved it. The imagery was gorgeous. I feel like I really lived in that world for a while

message 2: by Nikki (new)

Nikki I read that a little while ago and LOVED it. I would highly recommend it to just about anyone.

Laura (thatlibrarianlady) I'm in the middle of the audio book right now. It's very good. I was so excited that Jim Dale is the narrator.

message 4: by Audrey (new)

Audrey (audreydear) Jim Dale narrates the audio book?? I might have to download it just for him. I was obsessed with pushing daisies.

message 5: by Laura (new)

Laura (thatlibrarianlady) Yes, and I finished it Friday night. IT. WAS. SO. AMAZING. You should definitely download it.

message 6: by Audrey (new)

Audrey (audreydear) I KNOW RIGHT. When I finished reading it I was like "I don't even know what to do now. I think I just wanna read it again." Listening to the audiobook sounds like the perfect solution

message 7: by Laura (new)

Laura (thatlibrarianlady) Definitely. I have a book blog, but I haven't been able to write a review yet. I just need to process the awesomeness.

message 8: by Sashana (new)

Sashana I requested it from my library. Only 114 more people to go :/

message 9: by Laura (new)

Laura (thatlibrarianlady) Aw. Sad day. I would send you my ARC copy, but my mom is reading it and she'll probably take forever.

message 10: by Sashana (new)

Sashana No worries, Laura! If push comes to shove I'll just buy it.

saw this on the giveaways for today too. You have a few more hours time to sign up. Good luck!

Bailey | 2 comments I met Erin Morgenstern when she was in my town for a book signing, and I absolutely adore her! She's so sweet and "The Night Circus" completely blew me away! I had the same problem as Laura Ashlee in that I found it hard to process what I'd read into review-worthy words. All I could do was open and close my mouth and keep repeating, "You have to read it. It's beautiful!" to everyone I knew (and didn't know).

Kayla (kaylamee) | 1 comments I gave away do many copies of this book to friends for the holidays. What I enjoyed the most was the alternating narratives... And of course, the love story. I don't want to spoil it but I could talk about this book for days. Can't wait for my friends to finish it!!

Melissa | 279 comments I am listening to it right now also. It has been put on hold though because I just got my hold for Mockingjay. I am enjoying it so far!

I LOVED THIS BOOK! I am finally getting around to posting my reviews on the books I read this last week, and thought I would put my two cents in on the related threads. I got this for my Secret Santa in July book, and devoured it. I think I read it in about 10 hours. My mom has already read it and now my sister has it. Love the circus setting and all the characters. I am not much into love stories but this one was done well.

Funny side note: My brother was called to Jury Duty. When he was there the judge was asking them each what they did in their spare time. My brother mentioned he reads a lot and the judge recommended this book. :)

Silvia (silverware) | 436 comments I finished this book as part of the Spring/Summer challenge.

I absolutely loved the imagery of the circus. It was a well written book, that played to my imagination. I enjoyed the passages written in first person, as it allowed me to interact with the circus.

The concept of the circus and plot was so innovative, that I was curious to see how the book would progress. I did find the ending anti-climactic, and may have enjoyed a happier ending.

Overall a wonderfully imaginative, page turning, illustrious sort of book that I will recommend to others!

Natanya (vraisemble) | 255 comments I read this over the summer and LOVED it. It's one of my few 5 star reviews on here. I loved the connected plot lines, and having the opportunity to follow so many different characters aside from Celia and Marco.
