I decided to read this book after watching Diane Sawyer's interview with Jaycee. Parts of the book were hard to read and I almost put it down. During the interview with Diane Sawyer, Jaycee had come across as full of hope and not full of hate. She was a victim but she never gave up hope.

I too saW the interview Diane Sawyer did with Jaycee. She went through so much in her pre teen and teen age years because of this monster. Listening to the audio version of her story made me appreciate what this poor young lady went through.

Definitely one book I'm glad I went the audio route vs. the actual book.
