well sure hes a grood pres. thats wy i hate bush
Yeah, not a good move electing him on America's part.
"He did okay his first term"??!? Ok Kenna i have seen soo many of your ignorant comments in all of these discussions, but this one is just a little too far over the edge. 1)
Yeah 9/11, that happened in his first term, but who wants to remember that?? Lets just try and get the CIA to hush up all of the facts and figures that prove that Gorge Bush was involved.
2) Iraq. !0 million dollars A MONTH fight a war against who?
Al Queda? Oh no those guys are in Afghanistan...
Osama Bin Laden? Wait isnt he in Afghanistan too?
Weapons of mass destruction? Well we've been there for 5 years now....and no WMD's? Huh....
Oil? Well we are taking oil...but is that the reason we went there?
Spreading democracy?
uhhhh...the Iraqi citizenz that our soliders kill every day dont seem to think so.
The entire 8 years of Bush Cheney were horrible!!
ughhhhhh!!
lolz"jourj"
Farmer
"walker[W.:]"
Worker in cloth
"bush"
shrub
so it's
a) one who farms shrubs for the making of cloth
b) a one who farms cloth to give it the appearance of shrubs
Chandani, that was a little harsh to Kenna. She has a right to speak her mind as much as anyone else in this group. If you can't take that you can leave. (Don't mean to sound dictorial) but this group has rules, like respecting others opinnions even if you don't agree with them. Saying something like, '"He did okay his first term"??!? Ok Kenna i have seen soo many of your ignorant comments in all of these discussions, but this one is just a little too far over the edge.' Does not sound very respectful to me. Does it to you?And
1) I highly doubt that the President of the United States of America could even think of doing something like that. Don't they have him like UBER protected by Secret Security? Where would he get the alone time to even TRY to plan something like that
2) The war in Iraq is NOT a waste of time.
a) We went there to fight a war on terror
b) We're trying to help spread peace there, so ... just don't even go there with me
Believe it or not MOST of the Iraq citizens are NOT trying to kill the soldiers. The ones that are, are called "terrorists" they're the ones we're trying to rid ourselves (and Iraq--now) from anyway.
So the war in Iraq is NOT a waste of time.
um, Kenna, so far there is absolutely no evidence of there being weapons or terrorists. We went out of Afghanistan, where there were terrorists. And I personally don't think we're really helping Iraquis. If we were, Iraqui soldiers wouldn't be fighting our troops.
That's not necessarily true. If the Iraqi's feel threatened by our presence then the soldiers might attack us. And soldiers are not the common folk. The soldiers had higher power in the reign of the other people (I think) then they do now. So they probably reject the new authority.
But I'm not even sure if it is the soldiers attacking us. Are you sure they are? And that they're not the followers of Osama Bin Laden?
So a lot of u guyz are saying that you don't think Bush is a good prez, yet a lot of u same ppl claim that u support McCain. And McCain has said himself that he agrees w/Bush 90% of the time. HMMM ...
TY Brigid. And Kenna, they are attacking us. But in Iraq.
It is the soldiers that are attacking us. But they do support Osama Bin Laden. But they only just supported them. They used to be on our side until GWB decided that we were going to attack them. For absolutely no reason.
Um, Riley. If you were talking to me my name is Kenzie. Not Kenna. The soldiers that support Osama Bin Laden are going to attack us, they are of the notion that one person can control an entire country and kill people if they don't side with them!
I don't believe they were ever on our side. Feigning to be, maybe. But actually on our side? We took away their leader, and they want to support us? Yeah ... I don't think so.
McCain is not BUSH! Why can't you stop comparing him to him?! Yeah, sure he agrees with a lot of the stuff Bush says, that doesn't mean he's going to be a Bush! It's rude to continually compare him to Bush, he's his own person! He's not George Bush!
Bush and McCain have two different plans for this country. STOP comparing McCain to him.
but McCain agreed with Bush 90% of the time! That's more than too much. And sorry about the name blurb. You guys seem to agree on a lot.
But I don't think anyone's going to change anyone's mind. So, maybe we should just agree to disagree after everyone's said something.
That's okay about the name thing. I just really hate being called others names, it happens to me a lot.A lot of people voted with Bush! Does that mean they'd make bad presidents, too?
I'm sorry, but him voting with Bush does not make a difference to me.
Take that variable out of the equation, then think it over, and then come argue with me, because if all you have to back up your side with is 'but McCain agreed with Bush 90% of the time! That's more than too much.' then I don't think this is worth discussing.
You should support your candidate based on who THEY are, not who they're running against.
I am going on who they are. No, strike that. I'm going on their policies. I didn't agree with George W. Bush. I also disagree with McCain's policies. On a number of things. The economy, the Iraq war, the environment, etc. etc.
Okay. It just sounded to me like the only thinking backing you up was that McCain voted with Bush most of the time. And that didn't sound right to me. I apologize. I accept your arguement, but respectfully disagree.
Okay, so people voted for George Bush, because they didn't know how badly he was going to screw up the country. But now that they have seen the mistake that they made, they should NOT vote for McCain. McCain keeps saying over and over, "I am not Bush. I'm a maverick. Blah blah blah." But then he goes and contradicts himself and says, "Well, actually I agree w/Bush 90% of the time."Yeah ... Sorry. I'm not buying it. Sure, he disagrees w/Bush 10% of the time, but I don't think that's gonna cut it for this country. Sorry.
The people did NOT vote in Bush. The super-delegates did, remeber? The people voted for Kerry. And you know what's really sad, is that if about 400,000 democrats in Florida had voted for him Kerry would be in office this very second and Bush would be on his ranch in Texas.
gorge bush is the reason for this stupid war!!!!!! i respect him but he is a bad president!
He did what was necessary in a trying situation. I have said it before: Don't judge him unless you know that you could have done better. Sorry, but that's how it is.And did he attack the towers? Did he cause the deaths of all those innocent people? Would you walk away from someone who had just sucker punched you in the face? I, for one, as well as thousands of other Americans, would not! That, Holly, is why we are at war.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!! I hate bush
personally i think he is a good presidenthe was put into a lose lose situation either going to war and having people hate him
or not going 2 war and having more people hate him either way he couldnt win
Ummm Kenny? The war in Iraq has absolutely nothing to do with the twin towers. We didnt go cause of 9/11
We went for the immaginary WMD's
We went for Osama Bin Ladin who is chilling in his Al Queda safe heaven over in Afganastan.
We went cause they have tons of oil.
and we went cause we think we have the right to just butt into other countries and do what ever we want.
And bush IS killing hundreds of innocent people everyday, in Iraq.
It seems like an awful lot of people posting on this topic really don't know much about him and what he has done.I think I know this little bit; Al quaeda was being cruel to Iraqi people, the war was then started because the US wanted to stop the injustice, and as a result of being in a war zone, innocent bystanders were killed.
quoting Chandani: "and we went cause we think we have the right to just butt into other countries and do what ever we want."
I don't think that is a very fair accusation. The US is an extremely powerful country with quite the military and sometimes we step into other countries and do what the president feels is needed and in case you were wondering, sometimes we have the power to stop huge conflicts. Do you think Bush's intentions were to kill thousands of inncoent Iraqis? Malicious? Evil? No, I think he was trying to stop the injustice going on in the world - and in some opinions, he went too far and tangled the United States into too much.
I do think it is unfair that George Bush is so often blamed for being such an awful president. Think about how much pressure is on a president, how many descisions he/she has to make. They don't get weekends and summers off like we do; they work nonstop. Think of how hard it must be to make the absolute best descision 100 percent of the time; and with almost every descision you make, some percentage of the population disagrees and is angry because everyone has different beliefs. A president can never make the whole country totally happy.
It is quite the job and he did do plenty of things right.
Chan, I bet you a million dollars that Osama isn't in Afghanistan. I bet you that he's in Pakistan. It's the only smart thing to do. The government in pakistan isn't able to allow us in because the people support the terrorists. Pakistan it technically our ally, but only government-wise. The people would just kill the ruler there if he allowed us in to look for Osama, so he had to ban us. If the U.S. enters Pakistan, it will be considered an act of war. The ruler there doesn't want it, but he's kinda forced to. He helps us as much as he can without being caught by the people.
i think george bush has made TONS of mistakes, such as starting the war in iraq. i understand that the people there were in a really bad place and all, but what have we really done for them? we killed their leader, destroyed their country, killed thousands, etc. all for non-existent weapons of mass destruction. which, personally, i'm not positive what the press/other politicians decided, but i think he didn't really think they were there in the first place. and where is our economy right now? who was governing us while it happened? i'm not an expert, so don't quote me, but that's what i think.
Kenny wrote: "Chan, I bet you a million dollars that Osama isn't in Afghanistan. I bet you that he's in Pakistan. It's the only smart thing to do. The government in pakistan isn't able to allow us in because the..."You have a million dollars? Man....
A millions cheap. Pocket change. I carry a couple billion in case I want to buy a country while I'm out. I get my bills broken by Bill Gates. I'll take him a couple trillion dollar bills and have em' broken down into billions.
Wait, did you really just say that? Ok, now I have to disagree with your view, but I'm not holding anything against you... I don't like bush. He's a hard-worker, but I just don't like him. He doesn't have the right sense of priorities. And SaRa, be glad. You are a rare (and dying) race. No one else really LIKES bush. Congrats.
hes a bad president but i am just assuming hes a good person.........did u know ronald reagan used his wifes astrologer for almost ever decision he made? trivial pursuit is where i found that out s its true trust me.......
i loved ronald reagan too. i don't have to explain my reasons and for those who don't like him they shouldn't have re-elected them... and i don't mean the kids on here i mean the adults who complain. but it must be pretty hard to have people want something from you every second of every day.
Ronal Reagan did great thing for the country, but he invented crack and theerefore he is the devil. Ronald Wislon Regan=666
Lol i dont believe in that crap but a know some of you do....
I am sick and tired of these political "Coincidences" I should be a conspiracy theorist....
what awesomess...only if that thing is truly awesomess
