Nicolle Updated.

message 10: by Sunny (new)

Sunny (travellingsunny) Nicholas Sparks is the only author that I've ever been in the situation of needing to put a book down because I couldn't see the pages through my tears. More than one of his books have caused me to openly sob - SOB, MIND YOU - whilst reading. DAMN YOU Nicholas Sparks for making me have feelings!!!

message 11: by Nicolle (new)

Nicolle Hahhaa, didn't you just read One Day? That had me bubbling by the end. Also The Book Thief and The Boy in the Striped PJs.

Sunny (travellingsunny) Oh, sure, One Day had me misting up a bit. I'm a sentimental sort, so it really doesn't take much. But, Sparks is the MASTER and you'd think my dog just died or something the way his books make me bawl.

Ah The Lord of the Rings my favourite book in many ways. I need to do a re-read soon. The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency, Persuasion, David Copperfield, Water For Elephants, Northern Lights I all need to read too.

Sunny (travellingsunny) I just read Water For Elephants last month while on a flight. It was definitely worth my time! Great read.
