"What do you mean, almost?"
"They need to get in our line of fire, and they're not close enough yet. And I need to get more defense."
"Oh." Talia looked out the window. The small lights from the enemy ship were slowly approaching. "Can you have the defenses up by the time they get here?"
"I'll try."
"Okay, hurry up, then."
"Agent Ross, please report to room 201B. Agent Ross, please report to room 201B," a monotone voice called over the loudspeaker.
Krysta sighed and stood up, stuffing the last bite of her sandwich in her mouth. She tossed her trash in the waste bin on her way out. There was a flash of blue light and the garbage disintegrated.
She reached room 201B and pressed her hand to a panel. A small light blinked twice and the doors slid open.
"I suppose I'm needed here?" she said to announce her arrival.
Her commanding officer turned and nodded.
"There's been a surprise attack launched by the cyborgs on some of our ships," he got to the point right away.
Krysta ran a hand through her long blond hair and bit softly on her bottom lip.
"Great. So it sounds like our ambassadors failed."
The man, First Commander Masterson, nodded again.
"Any word from them?" Krysta asked.
"I'm afraid not. They were scheduled to return home yesterday morning. Our officials think they're being held as captives."

Talia stared out the window again, at the ship that was still coming closer. She tapped her earpiece again. "Ready?"
"Yep."
"Fire!"

"Great," Kystra said sarcastically.
"This is where you come in. We want to send you to find them."
Kystra blinked
((I'll Post more later))

"You can't be serious," Krysta said when she finally spoke, "I'm just an agent! And I'm only nineteen! I don't have the qualifications for a job such as this!"
The Commander just smiled at her.
"Krysta," he said, "I have been personally training you for the last five years, I know what you are capable of."
"I'm sure there are plenty of men who have been in the system for the last forty years who could do the job ten times better... without being killed!" Krysta argued, "I don't stand a chance on a cyborg planet!"

The ship lurched backward and to the right as a blast hit them at the 11:00 angle. Dune held onto his seat tightly and forced himself to move against the force of the blast and check the monitor. A big red area was blinking. He pressed two buttons that set the whole ship on alert, and took the microphone on the side of his helmet and yelled into it (it would be transported to every area) - "Group 1 Mechanics to Area 15. I repeat; Group 1 Mechanics to Area 15."

"Agent, you'll be fine. I'm sending a whole team with you. You'll be the captain of their team."
Krysta ran a hand through her blond hair.
"Fine. I guess I don't really have a choice."

Talia and the other members in the room were jerked backward as the cyborg ship shot at them. Red lights flashed.
"What's happening down there?!" Talia yelled into her earpiece.
"I'm trying to hold the defenses, but they're gonna collapse soon," Dominic replied.
"What about our attackers?"
"We're doing the best we can!"

George opened fire as soon as they were in sight. He pulled the sight to his face and picked them off, one by one, but they just kept coming! "Get down" he yelled, and pressed the charge switch on an molecular disintegrator grenade.
((Okay, I'm going to make Krysta's crew soon. If any of you want to make a charrie who will be on her crew, let me know.))

((Oh! May I?))
((please! Tell me when you've posted your charrie and then I'll make the rest of the crew. Unless someone else wants to join?))

((I'll join!))

((A guy in the mechanics room. It's okay if he gets killed, I never made a charrie for him.))
((Great! I think I'll make the rest of the crew then. What other positions are there on a crew?))
((The ambassador to the cyborg planet has gone missing, so Krysta is being sent to find out why and find him. She's being given a whole crew to go with her))
