Worst book ever! I am sorry, this book bored me on everything level. I usually like Emma Darcy more than this and I kept think something would happen to make it better...it never did. The H/h were boring, their relationship was boring, the passion was boring...did I mention boring? Sorry, but I really don't know what else to say. He wants revenge against the h's dad and while you understand why, you never feel it. Everyone hates the dad, but again you never feel it. The meet once a week for months and have dinner and go to a room the the H has rented for the night...wow how passionate and romantic! Love to hear someone else felt differently, but man I can not believe how disappointed I was.

Wow . . . I don't think I've ever seen you rant so much about a book before, Megan, so this one must be really bad. You are usually much kinder than I am in your assessment of these books so if you didn't like it I'm sure I'd hate it. Makes me really glad I didn't buy this book!
I was so frustrated after reading it. I wanted my time back. I even waited to make my comments until the next day...interested to see if someone else liked or not?
This was already on my will-read-only-if-I-finish-the-other-October-books-before-November-1 list. Sounds like I will definitely pass now!I liked Emma Darcy in the 90s, but I was totally disappointed by the only recent book of hers that I've read (Wife in Public).
ok, I do not want to discourage anyone from reading this...matter of fact I need someone to read it to explain how this one made it thru. I agree about Wife in Public, but even that one had it's enjoyable parts.
