Oh Jennifer, Far worse than #12. I actually read a book that I really liked that turned out to be #37 in a series that has 40 books. Namely the Spenser series by Robert B. Parker. I have always really enjoyed his Jesse Stone books and movies so now I am reading my way through the Spenser ones.
