Emma Lou (rubyeskimo) | 2 comments I'm eagerly awaiting my copies of books 1, 2 and 3 in the series to arrive!

Cheryl (smmrgrl) | 6 comments This is part of a series?? How did I miss that? I purposefully try to avoid serial novels! I've had this on pre-order for a month or more....I sure hope it can stand as a story on its own....

Well on Amazon UK it says that books 1 and 2 are being published together in one volume then book 3 separately. Don't know if it applies to other countries as well? But they are coming out within a week of each other.

Cheryl (smmrgrl) | 6 comments Thanks for the info - guess I'll have to do some research for the US releases..... :)

Dana Arbelaez (danas_reads) It's available at B&N in hardcopy, all 3 parts included...if you're a member, it's a really good deal right now! I just picked up my copy on Thursday and can't wait to really get into this one!

M.L. I read it and thought it was terrific. I've seen different comments about the length, 900+ pages, but I've read books much shorter that seemed way longer. Thought it was completely mesmerizing - great characters, from Aomame and Tengo to Komatsu, Ushikawa, the dowager, Tamaru, etc. Murakami's writing is so clear - I was in the story right out of the gate!
