The Hunger Games is still my solid favourite, but even though, Blood Red Road was soooooooooooo amazing! It definitely broke the scales. Much better than Divergent on my opinion.Love, love, love Jack! And Ike (sad, I know) as well as Epona (also sad).
TOTALLY BRILLIANT. I just finished the book and I loved it. A must read!I love how Jack expresses himself with honesty too, I loooove Nero. I love how Blood Red Road is so real and fresh.
Yea i swear books are starting to get a little bit cliche nowadays but this is absolutely unique and intriguing.
One the best reads i will always share to many!
This is on my to-read list. It's a very long list, so I have no idea when exactly I'll be able to read it (or even find it - it's not on our shelves yet!), but I can't wait to get my hands on it.
I'm on the fence about this book, I did like the book, just hated the style in which it was written, made it very frustrating to try and read. Anyone else have this problem?
I found the fact that the book had no quotation marks annoying. I didnt get a sense of the charecters voice beacause of that.

I haven't read this book yet, but I did read a book just recently that didn't have any quotations either. It was a Western, not my style to begin with, and I had to re-read multiple times to figure out who was speaking. I'm not a big fan of that either.

I dunno... The language of the book was pretty weird with absolutely no quotation marks. I was lost at who was speaking but I guess it was okay. ^-^
I totally agree that Blood Red Road is unbelievably better than Hunger Games and every other dystopian series, except for The Darkest Mind,by Alexandra Bracken. But this was just as good, in a different, gutsier, unique way.I'm so glad to find someone who feels the same way as I do about this book. I literally haven't talked to anyone else who has read this. God Bless Goodreads.

I, too, loved Blood Red Road and thought much better than Divergent. I've wondered why it hasn't gotten the attention it deserves. Blood Red Road is suspenseful and action packed. Saba's world is very dangerous and violent, but Saba is on a mission and will not be stopped. The plot drags at first, but after Saba is captured and enslaved, the action is nonstop. Will read the entire series, something I rarely do.

And if you're still on the fence, read my rather-enthusiastic review here: www.by-its-cover.blogspot.com
I love it. I read it twice in a row, and it's not that easy to impress me. Especially now when everything feels so cliche. I thought Young just blew it out of the water. ...and I love Jack.
