Who is your favorite character and why? Mine is Ayra because I love her personality!

My favorite character is Arya as well!! Because she is mysterious, and also because she has a special bond with Eragon and Saphira. I like it :)

But I also really like Angela.. but.. who the heck is she????! I'm exited for the next book to unveil her character!

You stole mine Marx! I totally love Angela! Pissed me off that they screwed up her character big time in the movie. Why? She's unique, quirky and still a mystery. I think she's wicked awesome! I'd compare her to a Ninja because she's so subtle.

Definitely Saphira, she actually thinks about something before she does it instead of Eragon

I used to like Arya but then she got all queeny...

I like Saphira too and umm Murtagh as of the Last book.

Saphira, of course! Her way-of-talking really sounds like a little kid trying to understand a complex word -- like 'The wolf-elf-in-Eragon's-shape' or 'black-shrike-thorn-cave' or 'blood-mad-priests' or 'dragon-blood-elf-Arya'.

Saphira, Angela, and Arya! I guess those are only strong female characters...

i love arya and saphira.i could not help but wish i was arya when i read the books. she is so strong and self assured!

Arya... She so awesome and shes kind to eragon

Eragon and Saphira as dragon and dragon rider. They're such a perfect fit. Eragon really wouldn't make it without Saphira and the other way around. And then they're adorable, like when they reunite after spending some time apart :3

Saphira (because she is awesome) and Murtagh (because he was epic fighting skills)!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eragon is pretty cool as well

I liked Arya and Saphira. Arya because she was so different and layered. Saphira because she is Saphira.

I really liked Murtagh because he had many aspects to his personality and despite what he 'd been through as a child he withstood it and became strong. And even after the torture (both physical and mental) in Galbatorix's hands he came through eventually... Plus he projected a dark side as well as a good one which made him more approachable and human than most of the characters...

I always found Angela very interesting because of her abilities and her mystery!!! Can't wait to learn more about her!

WARNING SPOILERS

I honestly love Murtagh and am totally convinced Paolini- elda (hehe) is a genius for masterminding his character development. In the beginning I doubted this guy because he was the son of Murtagh, even though he had saved Eragon's life. The actions of the Varden after that unsettled me and reassured me at the same time (strange, i know right). When he was suddenly "kidnapped" by the Twins, I knew something was up. Guess what! He comes back with a dragon and news that Eragon and him are related. But the fact that he spared Eragon's life killed off all the doubts I ever had about him, even though they had a plethora of skirmishes after that. The final straw was when after everything had happened, after the had finished off Galbatorix and taken back Uru'baen *cough* sorry, Ilirea. He could have enjoyed a life of riches and power but instead he decided to turn it down and went to wander the land.

I think that nothing really "developed" in Murtagh's character development, and the only thing that changed was the way we saw him. As a Dragon Rider, Eragon's and a slave of Galbatorix. The actions he executed cleared misconceptions about him and I would be so very happy if Mr. Paolini could write a saga on the life of this wonderful person

My favorite character has to be Orik. He and his king took Eragon in with open arms and continued to be that way even after Orik was crowned king. Either him or Solembum, each of them are fantastic.

Obviously i love Eragon and Saphira, but in some characters their past is very mysterious, like Brom and Angela, and that makes me wonder who they were. I'd also say Solembum. These three characters look very interesting to me
