Ok, so i know that his mum has died, but hes kind of being a jerk!

In the firs book i was team Conrad but after i read the second i moved. Did the way he acted in the second change the way you though of him?/change your which team you were?

okay i agree with you on that but the third book made Jere a jerk and he wasnt on the first one and second one. So she made Conrad a good guy which i hated even though i knew at the end he was going to be with Belly

I love the entire series. But Conrad was soooo sweet in the last book, at the end I cried.

I've only read the first two books and so so far yea he really is a jerk. But he's one of those jerks that no matter how jerkish they are to you.......... you just cant let them go. I have a love hate relationship with Conrad ! Ugh lol

in the 1st and 2nd one but the third he was fine. i felt sorry for jere cuz i really liked him aswell and i know for a fact that he wudve always made belly happy.:) but her heart was alwys for conrad. right form the start.

yeah, I know. I felt bad too. But I loved the way she loved Conrad with all her heart... it was sweet:)

I loved Conrad. even when he had his gigantic jerk moments you just can't help but love him.

Yes, his behavior was jerk-ish, but the guy was dealing with A LOT! Death of his mother, father's a jerk, and his life was changing in so many ways. Does that make it o.k.? No, not really, but in the end I understood maybe a bit of how he was feeling and how it could have messed with his head and come through in his actions.

Just beacuse someone is going through stuff doesn't mean its ok to act like that. Like you said it don't make it ok. I understood him. I understood where he was coming from and how much he was hurting. But he wasn't the only one hurting and just cuz you're going through something doesn't make it ok to act like a jerk.

i was team conrad since the beginning but then i felt like jerimiah was conrad with a better personality and THEN i just felt like i couldnt even decide between the two because i mean comeon theere both comppletely flawless but by the last book i jump on team conrads boat and i am SO happy to be there !

mhmm yup i though he was real sweet on the two first ones, I seriosly wanted her to stay with him, but in the third that was just really messed up what he did to her.

I don't think he's a jerk he just doesn't know how to show his true feelings towards belly. He is awesome and was my favorite character.

I read the first and second and reading the third. So far in all of what i read Conrad IS a jerk. LOL I'm so much for Jere.

I started to dislike him in the second book but then he showed a vulnerable side with Belly and I knew I was in love with his character. For some reason, I always adore the moody, smirking boys. Especially when they play guitar

Jere is cute and all, though.

He doesnt treat Belly right.

I cried at the end too.

Not to excuse Conrad's jerk-ish behaviour...but he also wasn't the one who cheated on Belly then thought it would make everything better by proposing to her.

So far, I've only read 'It's not summer without you', but I liked Jere much better. Conrad is sweet, but he keeps his emotion bottled up inside him. This might not be his fault, but breaking up with Belly countless times, on time at her PROM, is his fault. A loyal boyfriend shouldn't do that. I have to read more of the books though because I didn't know Jere cheated on Belly because that is so unlike him.

Sadly, though, I feel for Belly. Sometimes there's those guys in our life and no matter how much you want to hate them, you can't, because you know that you love them. And deep down, they love you too. It makes life so frustrating!

One way or another; EVERYONE FALLS IN LOVE WITH CONRAD, believe me!

He's not a jerk, he just deals with his pain by pushing those who love him away and shutting himself off. What's so beautiful about him, are his layers and the wall at he builds around himself. I just want to hold him in my arms and beg him to tell me all his secrets. To tell me exactly how he feels and to let go off all the hurt inside of him. He's not a jerk, he's just broken, and he won't let anyone fix him.

Jeremiah went through basically the same stuff as Conrad and he was not nearly as jerkish as Conrad. I felt like Conrad only wanted Belly when she was with someone else and then when he had her he just puched her away.

Yes. An even in the first book, Conrad was always a jerk. He did what he wanted with Belly even knowing how she felt, and that made of him a selfish...Well, jerk. I have truly never seen anything good about Conrad.
In my opinion.

Yo, Conrad sounds hot, but I do think he is sorta bein' a jerk and I love Jeremiah 'cause he actually cares for Belly

People keep saying he was going through a had time but that doesn't excuse anything. It's really a moot point. He was a jerk. When you go through some tough stuff, it's OKAY if you mess up here and there, people can, and will forgive that. However that's not what Conrad did. Conrad was a continuous jerk, it didn't stop, it was practically routed in his personality. That is not the kind of boy any girl should want to be with.

Having said that, this is fiction, and in fiction I wanted to see Conrad get the girl. But in real life, I'd have run the other way as fast as my feet could get me.

Then we have Jeremiah who cheated and people hold that against him. Why do we hold this one mistake against a really good guy when we don't hold Conrad's years of jerkish behavior against him? It doesn't even make sense.

Not everyone could forgive what Jeremiah did but there are lots of people who could too.

Not thinking about the actual characters, but if you had to get past someone treating you terribly for years or someone who treated you wonderfully but wounded you terribly by a horrible mistake, which could you forgive?

Personally, I could forgive the later more easily than the first.

i didn't like the ending of the series i wanted her to end up with Jeremy

Honestly... After I watch the serie, I was totally on Conrad but now that i read the second book i can't with him! He don't have any respect for Belly and okey he's going through a lot but he could be a better guy anyway so... Now I am team Jeremiah but who knows? Maybe in the third books I will change my mind.
