I started this discussion page early because my library already has the book for me. I'll read this one now and Death Cure next month. I'm all backwards. LOL!

Chapter 1: Origin Story
I love Tina Fey. She cracks me up.
Favorite line of this chapter:
"May I be amazing at you?"

Chapter 3: All Girls Must Be Everything
Tina Fey and I are on the same page! I agree 100%.

I answered the Discussion questions on this books so my thoughts are there but I loved the latter part of the book. I was actually laughing out loud in certain sections.

I"m about half way & there are funny moments I love that she's a girls girl & is helping to shake up the industry in the way people view women comedians

but overall I like my women dirty funny like Chelsea Handler & Amy Poehler. Tina Fey is awesome buy she's just so clean cut.

Chelsea Handler annoys me but I;m 100% Team Amy. Do you watch Parks & Rec. It's so damn funny. Slowly replacing The Office for me.

ha! That's funny that you find Handler annoying cause throughout the book I found Tina Fey annoying but just as I started to feel that way the next story pulls me back. On some level I think you are Tina & I'm Chelsea. and you LOVE me :) lol

I don't watch P&R maybe I'll get into it. Not having a TV makes me a little choosy with what I watch since I don't watch a lot of shows anymore.

I think you're right. I'm Tina, you're Chelsea. But I am not annoying and neither are you. LOL!!
Parks & Rec starts off kinda slow. Took a while for them to find their rhythm but by the middle of the 2nd season and the incredibly funny 3rd season, they found their stride. It's slowly become one of my fav comedies. I think you'll like it.

I really like the way she talks about Amy in the book. That I dont care kinda of 'tude. She sounds like a bad ass & I love it! I really began to like her when she did the Sarah Palin rap & she was 9 months pregnant! and then to read that part in the book I cracked up on the subway ride home. I'll give P&R a chance when some of my shows go on hiatus. I also want to get back into 30rock. i use to watch then I got rid of my TV
