We do, for some of the cities, Shon. If ur question is regarding who will organize the meet, we generally find a willing 'local' member who agrees to take up the responsibility.

Hey, has a Mumbai/Pune meet happened since this thread started? I would be extremely disappointed if I missed out. In fact, if the meet happens in Pune over a weekend, I wouldn't mind coming down.

Is anyone taking up the task of actually deciding for a date in the near future? I am new here. Not sure of the landmarks. Which place will be best for everyone to meet up? Can we please keep something sooner? Anyone? @Mansee, can we depend on you?

From your message, it's not clear which city you dwell in right now. Can you be more specific?
I have seen that people meet quite often in Bangalore; do you want to try that thread?
Another point is that I don't think it's Mansee's liability to plan and fix something up. Someone (anyone) can start a thread and if people are interested they surely will chip in.

Are you sure? Why do I see a /Pune in that case? And maybe the people who are writing 'For Mumbai' or 'For Pune' need to know this revelation!

ok. its for Mumbai or Pune meets..its just because some might come from one city to visit the other cities meet...

@Kedar, as Vinoth explained, initially members showed considerable interest in travelling over to the other city too if only for the meet. But unfortunately, all the mumbaikars and puneites slowly became less n less active in the group. Though we have so many readers from Mumbai/Pune area now, very few of them are active members.

And the reason Rosun looked up to Mansee is because initially she was the one who made efforts to rally around Mumbaikars for a meet, though it didn't materialize for the reasons mentioned above.

@Rosun, i will try n contact all the members who signed up here and see if a significant number are interested, if so, i will pass on the mantle to Mansee from there

Hey- sorry for being out of the loop-- Yep I agree; high time we plan a meet in Mumbai-- barring the 25th March, Im game for any Sunday in March and the first three sundays of April. Though I dont live in Mumbai, can come down for a Sunday for the meet, not a problem. As Aditya suggested, lets find out how many are interested and we can plan accordingly
