And don't worry. It gets easier as you move on, and you will learn a lot. I only started french in august, and we started chapter 4 yesterday.

i actually luv spanish; i have no idea why. i guess cuz it's easier for me than ... like ... math and science, etc. i've been taking it for ... uhhh almost eight years i think. ¡es muy divertido! XD heeehee

oh wow...i took spanish for six years @ my old school, and i still barely remember anything. so either I had a bad teacher, or I'm an idiot. probably the latter. lol XD

i <3 hebrew, though. and hebrew class @ school is easy, coz i'm pretty fluent in hebrew. YAYERS!! XD

Well, if you can learn to speak hebrew but not spanish, then it is probably your teacher.

Mais j'étudie le français, et c'est ... CRAP! I got almost entirely through the translation, removing a couple words I didn't know but still having the sentence make sense, and then I get to the word FUN! And that is the word I don't know! grr

well, I didn't LEARN hebrew from my teacher, I knew it since I was born. I just have hebrew class for grammar and such.

at my school we have to take at least two years of foreign language i think. so i guess i wouldn't have to take spanish next year. but i probably will anyway. XD

I have to take the same language for 4 years. :D I will be quite fluent in french by the time I'm a senior, which is a LONG way away.

Hi Rachel. I took four years of German in high school and two semesters of Spanish in college. The amount I remember from either one probably wouldn't even fit in a pin point.

I don't think they're going to offer Hebrew at most of the high school options I'm considering...*sigh* that means i'll have to start over with a new language. darn. (except if i go to a jewish high school...but i'd rather not go to high school at all than go to a jewish one like kehillah!! ugh.)

Oh, one of my friends is from Germany! English is her second language, and she is learning french as well. That is actually how I met her... Through french class.

Speaking of accents, my friend is Russian. She doesn't have a Russian accent- English is her first language- but she can do an AMAZING Russian accent, it's exactly accurate and she cracks me up whenever she does it!! :D She's also the master of accents...she can do any accent at all, you just name it. XD

Sounds fun. My friend does a PERFECT British accent. It is pretty funny.

Who can do a British aceent Roni? One of your IA friends, or ... Rainy? Kassy? ... Marie?

oh my mom speaks some german. and some french. and i think my dad speaks some french too.

That same friend of mine (who I mentioned before) also has a PERFECT british accent, too. lol XD but i suck at accents myself..ugh. except for israeli accents, because i just copy how my mom speaks. lol. XD

my mom speaks hebrew and polish (besides english), and my dad speaks hebrew and french (besides english) XD.

My mom speaks german in addition to English, and I am learning French!

YEsterday I thought of how much fun it would be to talk in nothing but french for a day, but I would not be able to say a whole lot because I've be taking the class for, what, 3 1/2 months?
