Hoping I have the correct thread here.

This is about these two authors.
Bonnie Highsmith vs. Bonnie Highsmith Taylor
Both write children's books but I suspect that they are either the same author, or books need to be separated out to the proper writer. The books also need to be given the proper original publication years no matter what the author resolution is.

Bonnie Highsmith did write a book that I read in the 1970's (Kodi's Mare) However it is also listed (as a cover to cover edition) under highsmith-taylor. The book I read (I'm looking at the details from the librarian sheet from July 1975) has Bonnie Highsmith listed as author (no Taylor).

Could someone with a bit more knowledge research this and make the proper corrections? Thanks!

WorldCat confirms they are the same person. Looking into it further.

WorldCat also confirms the dates. There can be many reasons why authors have gaps in their publishing, though I agree she needed to be looked at :)

I've merged authors and Bonnie Highsmith Taylor is now correct.

I know there can be man reasons for huge gaps in the career of an author, but I wasn't that familiar with her work and it was late here. Decided to make a comment and let those more awake check it out! Fresh pair of eyes never hurts! =)
