I think King would enjoy the Pine Deep trilogy by Jonathan Maberry: Ghost Road Blues, Dead Man's Song, and Bad Moon Rising. Set in Pine Deep, the number one Halloween town in the world. Perfect time for evil to find it's way in and for monsters to travel amongst humans unnoticed, right? I really enjoyed this series, cared about the characters, was anxious about the fight between good and evil (the odds were definitely in evil's favor), and read them back to back. Couldn't put them down!

Check 'em out!

Nikki I love the trilogy. I do a book blog where I write stuff about each book I read. Mayberry looks for things like this on the web, found mine and sent me an e-mail thanking me for writing about his books. He even linked it into his webpage when he found it.

Wow! That's so exciting. I can't say enough good thinks about Mayberry's writing ability. His characters are so well-developed and his stories are very well-written. Glad someone else has enjoyed reading his stuff!
