There's also Gail Garriger's The Parasol Protectorate series.

I picked up

Jenny, I've had my eye on Boneshaker, am waiting for it to come out on Kindle.
And has anyone mentioned The Iron Duke?
I can't believe I've only been reading Steampunk for a year, I feel as if I've read just about every book on any of the steampunk lists i've found, so I'm eagerly watching this topic to find anything new. And, of course, can't wait for onslaught of Steampunk coming from Carina Press in December :)

Books mentioned in this topic
Writing Steampunk (other topics)The Fire Rose (other topics)
Boneshaker (other topics)
Steampunk! An Anthology of Fantastically Rich and Strange Stories (other topics)
I'll kick off with a free read by Cory Doctorow, available on Amazon. "Clockwork Fagin" is a short story from Steampunk!: An Anthology of Fantastically Rich and Strange Stories and it's a beautifully written, wry, Steampunk take on Dickens. Brilliant. I'd recommend it to anyone who'd never read Steampunk -- do such people exist?
