He is a drunkard but not very smart. If he went to the hunger games he would definetly lose. He is not so strong because of alchahol. It could easily be used against him. for example it could be poisined.

just rereading comments and one nikita posted is kinda wrong. haymitch won the third quarter quell and only turned to achohol because he wanted to forget everything he saw.

Haymitch shouldn't do that. It's wrong he should just face it because it happened and try to not make it worse for himself. Alchahol can lead to serios health issues and lead more sorrow into him. ;( :( ;(

in the 2 book it mentioned that some people turned to morphling or other drugs. and achohol lets him forget everything he saw. so he is NOT making it worse for himself only better.

Point for you. But not all tributes turn to that. Johanna, Finnick, Brutus, Chaff... to name a few didn't. So not all people turn to it.

Well. Alchahol is bad for your liver. VERY BAD. It also seriosly damages your brain. (I thought i was argueing with Darwin.)

One more thing, Being drunk shows weakness in their capital. If the coach is drunk it sets a bad example for the participants for that capitol. And with a trainer that's drunk its so obvios that they will lose.The Hunger Games

Carlie and Darwin haven't really taken sides. So its you and me.

I don't think I'm ever going to choose sides unless one side is losing very badly then I'll go on the losing side.

I kind of don't understand why you would go on the losing side but since you are smart then the losing side will win.

I'm kinda doing the same, if someones help, then I'm in. :) Gotta practise debate anyway lol.
