I saw The Way this past weekend (a new Martin Sheen/Emilio Estevez film). Part of the movie takes place in and was filmed in France so perhaps of interest to this group based on that. I believe at the beginning of the movie it said it was based on a book so I'm going to do a little research and try to track it down because I thought it was a tremendous movie.

It sounds like a religious type film since that is a medieval Christian pilgrimage walk. Was it strong in the religious influence? It sounds interesting.

I wouldn't call it a religious type film. The main characters in the movie are doing the walk for other than religious reasons. The historical or religious aspect of the pilgrimage is a minor part of the story; more of a setting.
