Also, do you have some sort of training dummy or does some poor sod have to defend themselves against you? ;-)

I have a brown belt in Isshinryu Karate and my training included self-defense moves - so I use them for some of my scenes.
I do read dialogue aloud - it really helps to hear it so I can avoid clunky phrases. Not so much with Character movement unless it's complex or there are a lot of people in the scene.
My sparring partner tends to be invisible (not many people are home during the day), but I do ask my kickboxing teacher (who is a black belt) questions and she has a tendency to use me to demonstrate her answer!

I would also Love to learn Kickboxing, always have hahaha

I remember one of the instructors would dress up in thick padding and turn off the lights and make us face a wall. Then he'd sneak up and grab you and wouldn't let you go until you beat him off haha. Let's just say I was upside down at some points. Make some time to learn how to defend yourself!

Well now taking a class where you actually get to beat up a guy and NOT get in to trouble for it hmmmm I think that is one for me LOL

Hubby tried to teach me to shoot but the gun just wasn't really right for me it was a little to heave and I'm a little too blind LOL so we have to find a different one

That would be a ton of fun ahahah. Especially one of my ex-boyfriends would be nice. I'm not completely looking forward to shooting a gun, but I need to know how to use one if we're going to have one in our house.

I have to say yes I would because you will throw them a surprise crazy lady with golf clubs going against gun who will come out the winner LOL

The sad part is I would probably forget to call 911 LOL yes I have real issues

Now see that is a good plan

LOL yes I bet it is there are a lot of crazy people around now a days

OK maybe they just wanted to be where the load people where LOL
