Oh yes, I'm desperately waiting for my local video store to get the second season in so I can watch it. I know the show has it's flaws with historical accuracy, with some events switched around or omitted entirely, but I think they did a great job within the constraints of time and storytelling, especially with the sets and costumes, so lush!

I've watched it two times (both seasons), once when they showed it on TV and once recently when I bought both seasons. As you can guess I loved it (why else watch it twice?)! This is the perfect thing when I feel I'm craving to live in Rome for a while, it really feels like being there!
I rented it from Netflix, disc by disc, and bought it several weeks ago. I only buy movies I KNOW I will be rewatching. I've watched Rome many times since buying it. Ciaran Hinds is now one of my favorite actors, too, Chantel. For anyone who likes him, I hope you get a chance to see him and two of the other Rome actors, in the adaptation of Mayor of Casterbridge.
