All right I just finished listening to The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I actually liked it even though I thought I wouldn't. I am now going to go on and read the rest of the series.

I just finished Last Breath by Rachel Caine. This month has been more about Romance than YA, but I'm also reading Die for Me by Amy Plum.

I just finished Ghost Town by her. I am trying to spread them out since it is too long of a wait before the next one.

I'm reading School Rumble, Volume 1 by Jin Kobayashi, a multi-volume manga series that I decided to read after I watched the anime it was based on.

How did you get the book's photo to come up with the name? When I was inserting the name of my book, I could see the photo, but it did not pop with the title once posted.

I finished by Emily Franklin and Brendan Halpin. The storyline ties to favorite characters in Much Ado about Nothing by Shakespeare.

I just finished the series by Shannon Greenland called The Specialists. It did a great job of balancing fun spy/action, romance and friendship! It's so rare to find books that can balance all those elements of a person's life in a way that pleases me. Check out the first book: Model Spy

I felt the same way, but hang in there. It isn't
Vampire Academy, but it is definitely worth it. I think it's a great foundation for the new series.

I just finished The Emerald Talismanby Brenda Pandos. It reminded me a little of Twilightbecause the helpless and bumbling human girl falls in love with a half vampire/ vampire hunter and finds herself in danger from his vampire enemies in a small town in California.

For those needing a post Hunger Games fix, I just finished reading by
Ally Condie

The book is set in a world where rituals like dating and situations that cause conflict have been eliminated. In it's place citizens trust the Society decisions on what to read, watch, believe and who to marry.
I really loved it and can't wait to get my hands on the sequel,

I also enjoyed Matched. It was well written and I thought there were some great plot lines and the characters were well written. I am dying to read Crossed.

Yep! I followed it with an inspirational title that had me in tears. Title is on the inspirational reads.

I'm currently reading The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater. I loved her other series and so far this one is good!

Dee I absolutely agree. I am on the list for the audiobook of Crossed and cannot wait. The audiobooks are so well done.

I can't get excited about the Hunder Games. Maybe I need to listen to it instead of reading it.

I went back to read an older title called The Christopher Killerby Alane Ferguson. Most will have already read so I will just say light but well researched.

Try listening. I didn't want to read the series but I read the first one and actually really like it.

I just finished reading by Sara Grant called Dark Parties (it didnt find the title for me to add it here).

Overall, interesting concept of world isolation and the doom of it all the thrill of the possibility of escape. The ending, well now what?

The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater was fabulous. The story starts out with the male lead stating that someone would die today. Races are jockeys on water horses. The water horses like meat and prefer moving targets so story is a bit bloody.

I'm finishing the Hannah Howell highlander series I'm on highland barbarian now. It is enjoyable if you like historical romance. Lots of action and steamy romance all wrapped up in the highlands of 1480. I started the series a few months ago and had trouble tracking down a few of the books in the series. I also had to figure out exactly what order to read them in because it is important to read them in chronological order not copyright order.

If you've not read any of her other books, I highly recommend them!

Thank you. I will have to read her others, but part of the appeal of this is the story based on myth with no vampires or werewolves. Loved horse stories as a teen. Also appeals to the part of me that enjoyed

Had to go back and read by Alane Ferguson. It is a older series that is well researched.

I have to say I didn't want to read it but now I am glad I did. I really enjoyed it.

I have read a TON of YA books for November, and as it is the end of the month I will just mention a few that I liked best. My favorite November read was probably Matched by Ally Condie. Finally, I read The Sky Is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson which is the story of a family healing from the loss of a daughter/sister. However, the narrator has an interesting sense of humor which makes it not only touching, but also witty and fun.

I am starting the The Maze Runner by James Dashner.

I just finished by Laini Taylor and it was fabulous. Easily one of the top five best new books of 2011.
